The whole 'Yank' thing that goes on here is imbecilic. As for the idiot flag issue: Welshmen, you were in NY State if you came to watch the fight live at MSG. Would you even recognize the flag of the state you were visiting? Never. Stop being hypocritical and pointlessly judgmental.

 

Although i agree that its pointlessly judgemental, Wales is a country, not a state. So thats a stupid comparison, even if Wales is comparatively unimportant on a global scale.

 

I disagree that it's a stupid comparison. New York is more important than Wales, is bigger, and has a much larger population. More people globally are more familiar with New York than they are with Wales.

 

It's certainly not a stupid comparison. If you couldn't even recognize the flag flying outside the arena, how can you judge the people in it? Would you recognize the flag of Columbia, Argentina? Doubtful. Were the people who asked about the Welsh flag at the fight probably not the brightest of Americans? Yes, absolutely.

as far as i understand it new york is a very cramped city, not really able to grow much bigger because of geography.

New York is also a State. I'm refering to the state of New York. The state of New York is bigger and more heavily populated than Wales.
