The Lonsdale belt is a prestigious strap which is over 100 years old, given to British boxing by Lord Lonsdale, Co founder of Ring Magazine

Dont compare it to some worthless main stream tv belt designed purely for making money

 

The UFC does just fine.

Whether its PBC or some other organisation, someone is going to have to bring boxing under one umbrella.

Its the only major sport with multiple world champs with 4 or more sanctioning bodies.

Its ridiculous. The sanctioning bodies and their trinkets are the main thing holding boxing back

 

PBC would not bring the sport under one umbrella, it'd cause it to fork out even further. The only way for this to be a reality is for all the big promoters to come together and come to a mutual agreement (which ain't happening).

 

No other sport needs government oversite.

Imagine if soccer had 4 workd champions. It'd be considered a joke.

The sanctioning bodies have ra.ped this sport and somebody needs to end them.

If not Haymon, then hopefully someone else. Gates or any other billionaire would be fine by me too
