    Actually, GBP has been showcasing free fights on Fox Sports networks for the past few years, and on the spanish networks. Top Rank has also been showing fights on the spanish networks, and now has an actual deal in place with TruTV to showcase fights on Friday nights.

    The difference is, Haymon shows quality fighters, fights that are worth a damn.

    Any high profile fight shown by GBP/TR are shown on PPV or on their own respective networks.

    If that were actually true, ratings wouldn't be decreasing on each outing. The reality is that his main supported fighters are beginning to neglect their discpline by missing weight, and thus losing their hunger to perform, due to overpaying for services of can crushing.

    Do you have the ratings for these friday night fights that TR/GBP showcase?

    Are they higher than Haymon's PBC's ratings?

    Not sure why you're saying can crushing, he's shown tons of great 50/50 fights on the card. :think

    Like him or not he's putting on the best shows in boxing right now.

    Plus he's taking boxing mainstream and no other promotion company is doing it.

    There are people in this thread talking about Haymon being murdered and buried in the desert for trying to dominate a sport like ecclestone does f1.

    Just wow. Firstly Haymon isn't going to takeover the whole of boxing and dethrone the existing sanctioning bodies and 2. he's not going to be assasinated Oscar, Bob, Sauerland or anyone else for what he's trying to do in boxing. If he upsets Felix Sturm however...

    Like Broner fighting Porter at 144 when Porter is a natural Jr.MW?

    Like Santa Cruz fighting bum # lost count.

    How about real fights like Matthysse vs provonikov.... Alvarez vs Kirkland, Mares vs Gonzalez.

    GBP does not carry the rep of protecting fighters.

    Anyone who has done economics will recognise that what is being presented here is the potential monopolisation of a sport.

    That is not healthy for the sport we all love.

    You would get theatric, concert style, WWE boxing....
