Of the 17,000 seats available, British fans have been allocated less than 4000. That means it will be packed with celebs and corporate people...a **** atmosphere is virtually guaranteed.

It is not that PBF fans would not make an atmosphere, but the low allocation to British fans shows that a lot of the seats are basically reserved for people who dont really give a **** about the sport.

As I have never watched either of those, are you being sarcastic? If so then I don't think it is a good comparison. I have watched plenty of big Vegas fights and the atmosphere is almost always crap, because half the stadium is full of celebs and businessmen and not real fans.

nah mate he is being serious - the NBA play offs have celebs, sponsors and business people for 10 rows; no real fans have decent seats and jerseys are few and far between

I'm not being sarcastic. The big events simply cost too much for the regular Joe fan like you and I. With only 17,000 seats, they are sure to jack up the prices. Sometimes, the celebs are the only ones that can afford the good seats to these kind of events..

Sure, some of those Hatton fans are hardcore.. but how many can really afford a plane ticket to the States, hotel and spending money, and still pay top dollar for seats for the fight? Doubt there are many..

as long as they get the band in there it should sound good. :good

shame about only 4000 british fans.

but the demand was always gonna be huge.

33,000 british fans applied for tickets.

they should have done it somewhere massive like the alamo dome or new orleans superdome to meet the demand.

but vegas is where the real money is at.

Theres debate over on Hattons forum about how many 'die hards' acually have a ticket out of that 4000. A lot of that allocation seems to have gone to Punch Promotions package deals. Out of 8000 members (not all applied obviously, but a hel of a lot did), just over 100 got tickets in the ballot and nobody got any of the 'cheap seats' that were supposed to make up 45% of the British allocation. They just seem to have gone missing somewhere.....ie Punch Promotions package deals.

The whole thing Punch/ GBP/ Ticketmaster stinks to high hell IMHO.

Trust me mate there wil be at least 10000 brits in there, all the tickets have gone to brokers who will sell them to British fans.

It's a disgrace that the so called mecca of boxing cannot find a larger arena than a pathetic 17000 which is less than most low level British football grounds. With the unprecedented demand for tickets this should have been held at Wembley Stadium or some American Football stadium/bowl

you want an atmosphere? go watch some football!

no doubt i love a loud atmosphere (shame i miss out, considering my teams less than vocal home supporters, but you gotta sit in silence sometimes to admire the finer arts :yep ) but quite frankly i couldn't care less if it was deadly silent whilst watching boxing. if there's noise fair enough, if not then i'm not gonna miss it.
