Does anyone know why this style is not followed by anyone anymore? Cus D'Amato was the peak-a-boo guru and got both Floyd Patterson and Mike Tyson won the heavyweight title with it. When used properly it was the most awesome thing I saw, hit and not be hit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl6TiOvDf00
Fighters don't use peek-a-boo anymore? That isn't true at all. Miguel Cotto is the main one to spring to mind.
German boxing trainer Uli Wegener trains nearly every of his fighters a variation of this defence as main defence. Watch Arthur Abraham, there it is displayed at it´s best. Well, every fighter in German is trained in using it somewhat. See it using them more than fighters from any other country.
