I don't think Usyk's any less famous than Chisora. You need to broadly follow boxing to know who Chisora is, and once you're doing that it's hard to imagine you wouldn't know who the champ is, especially considering he's the guy who tore through Chisora and every other popular UK fighter, and did it mostly in the UK.

It depends on whether we have different definitions; we might agree about Eubank. Generally speaking, I would say:

Elite = P4P/Undisputed/Multi-belt champion
World class = The clear top 2 or 3 in a division - legit individual belt holders (not the IBO)
World level = a legitimate contender who has fought A-grade opposition and put in a good account of himself. Even Eubank's losses have been to fighters I wouldn't put in this category. Groves would've got in there in his prime, but not when he was on his last legs and still managed to outbox him.
European level = between the top 5 and 15, depending on the strength of the weight.

I'm not saying he can't fight, but British domestic fighters are often severely overrated on a world stage, as we saw with Adames vs. Sheeraz. Eubank has no jab, a leaky defense, poor feet, and no ring IQ—you can't be considered world-level with that combination of flaws. At the moment, Lara, Janibek, and Adames are a level above him, and 160 is one of the weakest divisions in the sport.

Yet it won’t be inconceivable for a full fit CEJ to defeat these guys because he is one tough hombre. I have always felt that a mistake made with him was that he could have been an excellent MMA fighter instead of a boxer because he is one tough son of a gun who would excel in freestyle combat. I don’t think he is a natural boxer technically speaking but he is improved in that sense. As for your definitions I understand what you are saying but unfortunately those definitions are not widely used and yes British domestic fighters tend to be overrated then again you get guys like say a Lloyd Honeyghan who for quite a period was a complete fighter a tad unappreciated by his countrymen. Yes they knew he was good but more a case of so what because they felt he was a womanising playboy ragga man.

Regardless if he is overrated or not I always like watching the guy fight and root for him plus he’s good in interviews / pressers and has good fashion sense . Hard not to like the guy
