Joe Louis was more fundamentally sound than the heavyweights today. I think he did everything better actually.

TBH, I think if Wlad were around back in Dempsey's era, the highlight of his day would be as a warm up sparring partner for him.

Heavyweights back then were much tougher. I don't think Wlad would survive.

Wlad would do great in any era. He's a living legend.

I think he would also fit the old school boxing mold nicely. He can punch. Hes very efficient with his energy, and can put in the rounds.

I give him very little chance against Dempsey, but he would've been a great boxer in the 20's.

Wlad isn't tough enough and none of the fighters he faced were real killers. Some were good fighters just didnt have that hunger or killer instinct that you saw in Dempseys era.

Do you think Joe Frazier could've lasted as long on top? I ask with no subterfuge.

Hilarious, just like the thought of Wladimir in his prime, losing to Corrie Sanders. Can you imagine how brutally Wladimir would knock him out? I don't even think Sanders would escape the first minute of the fight. He wouldn't even land a punch. Oh wait.....:yep

Nice try but Sanders was an athletic 6'4 225-lb man with a 77-inch reach, very good power and handspeed. Quite an upset but Wlad still would be the favorite if there had been a rematch. Your sarcastic ****ogy doesn't work.

Corrie Sanders was a bum. :deal And the fact that he beat Wladimir proves that he was a bum as well.

Judging from this thread you're the one spouting garbage. Fast Fact for you, PED's weren't around in Dempseys era nor for the next 40-50 years. Klitschko would be complete garbage without his juice.
