Klitschko's resume. You think he could reign for 10 years?

I think Frazier is better h2h, but Wlad had tremendous success on paper.

I find it funny that Sanders was already 14 years into his career when he took on Wlad.

    Wladimir is like black olives.

I try them once a year to make sure they still taste bad, yep.

Same when I try to go back to Klitschko fights. I always come back hoping to see something great, and I always leave disappointed.

I just can't help it. I feel like I have to force myself to watch his fights.

I truly think Frazer would have blown through Klitschko's resume. I keep reviewing it and I don't think he would have had problems. Do I think he could have stayed champ for 10 years? No, time would have caught up with him because of his style. Klitschko lasted so long because he has a low work rate, conservative style. He only has so many stoppages because he exhausts his opponents. If the 1967-1972 frazier fought klitchkos reign then he would run right through everyone.

Frazier wouldnt be as consistent as wlad and go undefeated for 10 years. One of the bigger super heavyweights would upset him

As I continue to watch more and more fights, I'm convinced of a couple of things.

    1. For the most part the top Super Heavies (SHW) of today, are better than the one's of yesterday. Now this is a fairly short list, because we're talking Bowe, Klitschko brothers, and Lewis.

    2. Louis despite his size, is under rated against these guys. Yes, all things being equal I would pick the SHW of today over most pre -50's fighters, but I would always keep the likes of Louis and Dempsey as exceptions, at least live underdogs.

    3. Liston and Foreman would likely give all these SHW's trouble. I'd probably favour Lewis over them both, because he's more adaptable and has a fighting spirit that say a WK lacks, but I think Foreman likely beats the rest. Liston too could beat beat the rest although I think him and Vitali and him and Bowe would be hard to call.

    4. comparing fighters of yesteryear with todays fighters, it probably a disservice to both fighters, there are simply too many variables to account for, and if I for example say Lewis beats Louis, that doesn't mean Louis didn't have a better career or wasn't a better p4p fighter, I think it's all true.

Anyway, that's why I don't like comparing todays fighters from the greats of the past. If you pick Tua for example, to beat Dempsey, the implication is that you're disparaging Dempsey, which is simply not the case, but that's how some are going to interpret this.

To me the perfect fighter, would have the speed of Tyson, the body of Lewis, the chin of McCall and the power of Foreman.

The best heavyweight in my opinion, would have to have the mobility, speed, and accuracy of Ali. The hand speed of Patterson, the fundamentals of Louis/Liston. The adaptability of Louis, the intelligence of Muhammad Ali. The jab of Liston. The body of Lewis. The power of Shavers. The chin of Chuvalo. The head movement of Frazier. The stamina of Marciano. Need I go on?

No I'm merely showing him how it's done. I'm using a fight a Fighter LOST as opposed to a fight he won.
