Just read on Russian news that their bout was postponed again. Now it should take place on March 8 instead of February 2 in Cancun, Mexico. According to the article don king did not elaborate on the cause for this delay.

I am wondering what is it now???

    MONEY!

He get a site fee of approximately $2.5 mio...plus Juan Diaz vs. Nate Campell as the televised undercard bout, likely being televised on HBO...

They might as well do ahead and push it on back to early summer. I am sure they can find a reason to do so.

I hope someone gets knocked out...really....laid out cold...preferrably the one who keeps postponing which I suspect that its Maskaev and his ******ed Russian camp.

This fight should of been fought a year ago, but Maskaev wanted to fight Vitali instead, but that didnt happen either. Im just glad its only a month later, now Maskaev has more time to set up his burial arrangements.

While I am not sure who's fault this is, this time around, I am pretty sure that if it was Maskaev's again, don king would have been verbally very explicit, just like he was the 1st time. However, the article said that don king did not provide any information about the reason it was postponed again.

I have never seen a Heavyweight champion try to hold onto his belt longer than Maskaev, even Vitali was legitimately injured (an re-injured lol) and eventually retired. Maskaev needs to fight now or retire, he is a hinderance to the Heavyweight division.

Not that I am trying to protect Maskaev but why is everybody jumping on his case? Nobody knows the details of the most recent postponement, yet. Lets spill the **** after we get some concrete info.

    P.S

I had a feeling that something like this would happen:

I won't be suprised if this fight doesn't happen at all. Something tells me that Peter's camp is getting cold feet after the embarassment against McCline. Either that, or they are just trying to buy time so that Maskaev gets older and rustier, or even hurt again.

I agree, Maskaev should of been stripped before for ducking out of his previous fight with Peter, fighters like Maskaev are part of the reason the heavyweight division is viewed as a joke.
