Bap Bap! How they coming on? I've seen em fight before a couple of years ago a couple of times - can't really remember which one, maybe both of em. Do they both make that Bap Bap noise when they punch? Liked the look of em when I saw em. Anyone who's seen more of em and more recently, what are your thoughts on their progress - prospects???? chears
They are both looking good. Anthony is currently at 28-0-0 (19 KO's) and is still at 135 lbs. This past August was his last outing shutting out rugged Javier Jauregui in a 10 rounder from Las Vegas. 100 - 90 was the overall score. Before that he KO's Jose Izquierdo in 8 rounds, Jose had a 17-1-1 record and was considered somewhat of a prospect as well but not on Anthony's level. Lamont 26-0-0 (12) is still fighting at 140 lbs, and his best win so far was a dominant UD win over the unbeaten Antonio Mesquita who was 34-0-0 at the time. Both Peterson brothers are improving and arent being rushed by their teams. Anthony is 23 and Lamont is 24 so they are still young and should take another year or two before calling out the best in their weight divisions. I really think they can make alot of noise in the upcoming years especially Anthony at 135. He's 5'8" with a 74 inch reach and those are good numbers for a lightweight especially when you have the speed and power to go with it. Lamont has potential as well but not quite as explosive as Anthony at least not yet. Both should be able to get to a world title within 18 months or so but the question is can they win one.
war petersons! they are waiting in the wings and knocking down every contender. waiting for the title shot.
Nice one fella:good. Sounds good. I look forward to seeing more of em in the future. like I said I was impressed by the look of em before but haven't seen or heard that much more - probably cos like you say they aren't being rushed.
