I really need to get drunk, I've been having headaches all week. My friends weren't doing anything tonight so I guess that means getting drunk alone.

Same here, home from work the last two days with some kinda flu thing, and I'm trying to forget it with beer. Real bad headaches.

Amy, what's your record? Are you a pro fighter?

Yep. Flu, which led to cramped muscles, which led to neck problems, which led to headaches. Thank god for beer.

Yeah. Mine was bad too. I got the shakes so bad that I pulled muscles in my back and legs from all the tremors. My neck hurts too now tat you mention it. Probably where the headaches come from.

I imagine it's a lot harder for women boxers.

Yes, that's why they all quit after a fight or two. Unless you live in a big city where there is a lot of boxing or if your club has loads of money to travel the country, there is really no point (as a female) to box. At least not if you actually want to take it anywhere or improve at a reasonable pace.

I take it you don't live near a big boxing city then. You could relocate?

I guess I could. But I don't want to. I've lived here my whole life and all my family and friends are here. My life is here. Oh well.

If I lived where she lives there's no way in hell I'd relocate. I'd kill to live in the mountains.

:D It is nice here. I guess that's the trade off. I can't do the one activity that I really enjoy, but it's pretty when I look out the window.
