    To remain irrelevant. Boxing is so boring. It takes a fighter years to become relevant. They literally throw away their window of opportunity. The fashionable thing is to be irrelevant, become relevant late and then try to cash out in as many big fights as possible. Even the likes of Hopkins and Froch did it. Boxers think their prime starts at 30! Especially at heavyweight where that line is used more, is just moronic.
