Completely true. However, that doesn't make Margo's cheating any better. Fighters will always look for some sort of edge in training, conditioning, speed, strength, ect... but loading your gloves in a way that runs a high risk of permanently damaging your opponent for life is in a league of it's own.

This argument, even if true, is laughable. Its the old plausible deniability loophole: as long as the person who is in charge and the one who benefited from the cheating doesn't quite know all the details of the cheating, he's not responsible. Man in power have used this excuse for eons to escape from punishment.

The bottom line is that Marg is the person in charge and bears the ultimate responsibility about who he hires and what he brings into the ring. In this sense, boxing is a team sport and if someone on the team cheats and the team has benefitted, the entire team should be disqualified.

Margarito also knows damn well what is and isn't acceptable in terms of hand wraps. He's been in the pro ranks for a very long time. If guilty, he is every bit as complicit as his corner - and in fact more so because he is the one stepping into the ring to land blows on an opponent's head.

 

This depends, there is a big difference when your sitting down getting your hands wrapped and your trainer puts a pre made pad on your Knuckles (considering they were pre made two weeks before the fight) I think that is a little different than someone taking a ****ing needle and putting something un known into your body:roll:
