I have to agree with one of the posters here. Ignorance is not an excuse. The law is very clear on that.

And loaded gloves can lead to criminal accusations. Just like hitting someone with a baseball bat would.

in the cotto fight margarito doesn't take his handwraps off and in the mosley fight he does, i belive he doesn't take them off because if the plaster was inside it'll be to hard to take off you would have to cut them off, and if you look at his knuckles in the cotto fight their huge while in the mosley fight their regular size. Also in the mosley fight when richardson walked in the plaster was already on, he had to unwrap the hand wraps and find that one of the blocks fell off he was cough red handed and im happy for that, cotto worked hard for that belt and margarito cheated to get it.

I agree....this is not his first amateaur fight.....he is on a pro level and
he knew that it did not belong there....therefore it was his duty to refuse
it and denounce that type of illegal practice.

The only way he would not have not known would be if he was in an induced
    siesta.

Whoever started this thread....you are placing your benefit of doubt in
    the B...Sh.t

First of all I am not going to make any assertions that Margo is scum, that Margo should be banned etc ubtil the comission's findings are made public-after all we still have the adage of innocent until proven guilty. However if it does turn out that Margo's hands were wrapped illegally then I think it's a little bit pathetic to try and hold Margo's corner fully responsible. At the end of the day it is the fighter who steps into the ring, it is the fighter who puts his body on the line and it is the fighter with whom the buck should stop in all these matters. Margo is a longtime proffessional who must have understood what was going on at the time. If he allowed his hands to be wrapped in such an illegal way then he should be held as accountable, if not more than anyone else. What ever the outcome I hope that the commission can come to a proper decision quickly and correctly so as to minimise the potential damage to boxing as a whole.

I can't believe people thought he could take punches from Thomas Hearns and not be knocked out.
