A PR local news paper "Primera Hora" reported today that during an activity set to honor him in his hometown of Caguas he was seen limping. When asked, he told the reporter that he had ingrown hair in kis knee and that its been taken care off and should not bother him come fight night. I personally have had ingrow hairs in my leg before and it didn't bother that much. Is it really an ingrown hair or is he hidding something? What's your opinion??? Here's the link for those of you that can read spanish. http://www.primerahora.com/noticia/boxeo/accion_deportiva/un_pelo_le_hace_la_vida_imposible_a_miguel/172896
Am I wrong to think this would only make the fight better with Cotto not being able to box much, he would have to resort to slugging it out in the middle of the ring.
Cotto limping against Gomez?? I don't think that it will change the outcome of the fight to be honest.
I think we all know the outcome of this PPV already Gomez gets demolished but fights his heart out. Margarito knocks Cintron out even quicker this time cause hes changing his strategy to fight from the start.
The evaluation of fighters abilities and skill set on this website sometimes baffles me. I'm assuming your being sarcastic and in the same breath I'm also assuming your knowledge of this sport is less than stellar. :good
First this is not PPV second Margo should stick to what he did in the first fight....any attempt to box Cintron will allow Kermit to get in a comfort zone. Margo's greatest advantage here is his aggressive style to retreat from that would only allow Kermit the opportunity to catch him. If it an't broke don't fix it.
I do agree with you in that sence in margos first strategy but lets think about how PAC changed his strategy to go up against marquez. I think if Margo goes in with the same mentality as he did in his first match he will be fighting a totally different fighter in Cintron I guarantee it.
Pac and Marg are two different fighters....you can prepare all you want for Pac's left hand but its still gonna find you chin do to Pac's incredible reflexes, speed and quickness. Margo is a different case, he's imposing and determined to grind it out on the inside if he makes any attempt to implement a more traditional boxing style he will eleminate his great equalizer. While I lean towards Margo repeating the success of the first bout I have reservations in changing my mind if he is truly gonna try and change his style. As a matter of fact I'm going with Cintron as the victor if what you say is true.
