    Round 10 was the clearest 10-8 round you'll ever see without a knockdown being scored.

    You're missing my point. Im asking if you dominate and score a kd, would it be a 10-7?

    Otherwise we could both dominate a round each but the kd wouldn't count.

    Seems unfair.

    no it would be a 10-8.

    fighters know what's at stake. they know how rounds are scored. khan could have taken a knee that round

    No, the 10-8 is the equivalent of a knockdown. The round was so 1 sided the guy might as well have been knocked down.

    It's to give the man proper credit for the amount for dominance in a round.

    It's hard to explain to you, because even needing this explained to you should be embarrassing. It's basically admitting you aren't a boxing fan and you're probably just the fan of a certain boxer or few boxers.

    Lol just because I need a rule clarifying it doesn't mean I'm not a fan.

    Would you claim to know the entire rule book of every sport you watch?

    I just wasn't aware that Khan could have taken a knee without losing more points.

    I watch as many fights as I can. Which isn't always easy with todays ppv culture.

    Thanks. Does seem unfair that you get no credit for staying up.

    I just remember you being a dick almost every time you have posted, and now you're in here arguing with people instead of going 'ok, thanks for educating me'

    Ricky Hatton.

    Haha no.no.

    Don't really have a solid favourite. I like Froch because he doesn't care who he fights and although he's not technically gifted, he just fights through it.

    In my opinion it could have been a draw without the point deduction
    My scorecards after rewatching it today

    1Round = 10:8 Khan (knockdown)
    2Round = 10:9 Khan
    3Round = 10:9 Maidana
    4Round = 10:9 Khan
    5Round = 10:8 Khan (point deduction for Maidana)
    6Round = 10:9 Maidana
    7Round = 10:9 Maidana
    8Round = 10:9 Khan
    9Round = 10:9 khan
    10Round = 10:8 Maidana
    11Round = 10:9 maidana
    12Round = 10:9 maidana

    Khan 113
    Maidana 112

    fantastic fight there should be a rematch

    I had it 114-111 too. What a ****ing fight.

    I've been tough on Khan and was pulling for Maidana leading up to the fight but that was a war between two tough *******s and how can anyone not be happy after watching that one?

    Respect to Khan for the win. Hopefully this is one of those fights where both guys see their profile raised because they both deserve it. Most people (including me) didn't think Khan would be able to take Maidana's bombs and the others expected a dominant shutout win by Khan. What we got we an edge of your seat war with the momentum changing every round. Brilliant.

    No ****ing way did Maidana win 6 rounds of that fight. I gave him 4 rounds, could probably make a case for him winning 5 rounds, but he certainly did not win half the rounds in that fight.

    I feel the same way, I went with the tide of the fight... I was like "wow, khan is ****ing fast" to "GET HIM MAIDANA!! FINISH IT!!" then "Okay, Amir won, what a great fight."

    At some point, Maidana landed an epic, massive, rabbit punch.

    I think Khan could've been given time to recover.

    Read the post right above yours where I thanked somebody for 'educating' me.
