Whos your fav Polish Player?

I was a Ireneusz Jelen fan ever scince his early days in Auxerre and I followed him a bit in Wisla Plock as well. This kid is amazing.

Paris St. Germain wanted to buy him, I think this will be his last season at Auxerre. Such a shame tho hes kinda injury prone. He outs for 2 months cause he has some kinda hernia or some ****... but i heard its not a lot serious, just waiting for it to heal up.

Jelen is my boy tho.

 

At the moment I would have to say Kuba Blaszczykowski. Jelen does seem to be out a lot, but he is promising no doubt. Let's see how Boruc does. :yep

 

Blaszczu is incredible Jelen is incredible too, but Kuba is younger and is still developing. I am angry, cause they both vulnerable. Especially Kuba, who is very aggressive in offensive game and this causes him injuries.

 

how come Smolarek was not in the line up against Greece? it seems like he's been slowing down in the last few games

 

I though Sosnowski was signed for some kind of a heavyweight tournament in Britain

Smolarek is kinda ****ed, his club situation is killing him. Kinda sad we have a player on our team that doesn't have a club, but he really is a good player he just gets to over confident at times.

 

Why in the world would he accept to go to a tournament when he just got offered a title shot?

Although he hasn't accepted / signed for this fight yet, but I highly doubt he wouldn't... he has waited for this opportunity his whole career... and Vidoz is really beatable.

While I have nothing against Roger, I think it's bs they gave him a passport and let him on the team... same goes for Olisadebe. Obraniak at least has Polish roots, a Polish last name, and has always had a desire to play for the national team, he got it from his grandfather.

I love the way Adamek is confident, but not cocky in the least. He respects all his opponents and does his talking in the ring. I like, and respect that. Always a well mannered and intelligent guy. I think he will beat Golota, and then Hopkins. He sure as hell better not **** up with Golota though if he wants a shot at Hopkins... I still think it is a mistake.

 

Adamek isn't a heavyweight. He's a cruiser and it took him a long time to get this good. Why can't he just keep on defending the cruiser title? If he can't have one big payday, just stay busy, defend the belt 3-4x per year...Cunningham (rematch), Flores, Jirov (on the comeback trail), Troy Ross (Contender winner).

Something will go wrong at heavyweight - sooner or later. Then, will Adamek be coming back in 3 years, when it's all gone wrong, gunning for his old title? like Jirov is...

if Showtime can make Vazquez v Marquez THREE TIMES, surely someone in boxing can get Adamek and Cunningham in there again.

Hope he doesn't fight Hopkins either. What's the point watching Adamek - a warriro - fight someone who will run away from him and hold him?

Olisadebe at least is Polish in heart. He has a house in Poland, a Polish wife, and he speaks and understands and respects the Polish culture.

Hes Polish to me, no matter if hes black. If he was opposite of that, id understand tho... but hes not.

Its much different too than Klose and Podolski.

Signing Olisadebe is fine, cause he's good, but hes not good enough to be on the Nigerian National Team thats why its fine. He would never get called up to Nigeria. Same for Roger. Roger is a good player, just not good enough to be a Brazilian. He wouldn't make the second teir Brazilian national team.

Roger is at least learning Polish and adapts well to his team mates and fankly, i see him as a Polish Brazilian : ].

 

I duno, you can't be Polish without being Polish. Lets say Poland wins the world cup, but the main reason, and the main goal scorers are Olisadebe and Guerrero. So did Poland really win the world cup? Or did the Brazilian and Nigerian win it, with some assistance from a few Polish players. I personally wouldnt even be proud of that achievment if guys from other countries are the only reason we won. A national team should be just that; a national team. I agree, but the tournament news was while ago, before the title shot, I wasn't sure if he was committed, hopefully he can make this happen without any repercussions
