Gomez Mother is German and Borowski is German born in Neubrandenburg An Uncle of my friend had the Adamek and was in the Hitlerjugend. :think
OMG, you seen ? They plan to make Jonak - Proksa fight in 2010. It seems they have already enjoyed polish fights. Predictions, thoughts ? For me Proksa KO.
Will Adamek v Golota be for any title? For instance, Polish heavyweight title? or one of the fringe world titles? Obviously Adamek is the World cruiserweight champ (which clearly cannot be on the line) and Golota is a former world heavyweight title challenger, and both are big names. But in boxing they usually stick some kind of title on to any fight.
I like them both. Proksa has more experrience, is more entertaining and has better skill. So he should be the winner. But it would be a very specific fight (Pole vs Pole) and everything may happen. As I always say in polish fights: let the better boxer win Fights Pole vs Pole are a lot better than fighting against foreign bums to make a record. I hate these fights vs bums.
What a fight that would be. Proksa seems to be the better educated boxer while Jonak is one of them tough guys, kinda reminds me of Gevor's style. Jonak is a very good boxer, not Proksa level i think, but hes tough. This is a break threw fight, both have about the even amount of opposition and records...l give the slight edge for Proksa tho... I think Jonak, along with Wlodarczyk, Janik, and Jacekiewicz are the most promising from BKP to win a title.... Too early for Szpilka and Kostecki etc... I don't think Kostecki will get to far anyways. He should of took that Adrian Diaconu fight.. that was a 50/50 imo.
Dissapointed about hearing about the Jonak vs. Proksa fight. I don't know why the **** they keep trying to pit our best prospects against eachother. I agree they shouldnt be fighting bums, but should be fighting prospects from other countries, and moving their way up. Not fighting against one another to get eachother out of the mix. NOT good for Polish boxing imo. :bart
Its good for us fans, because we will know which of this prospect is a better prospect For instance, how can I compare Janik to Masternak, when they havent fought against yet. I like them both but I want to know who is better. Whats more such domestic fights are more attractive for fans. The winner gets the prize and fan's respect and continue the advance. The loser must improve. One defeat doesnt end the career, specailly on the beggining of the career. It may even help to improve the personality. The best example is Bernard Hopkins, who lost his first fight. Then he did what he did - step by step and became a legend. Why do you think that its not good for polish boxing? I dont say that Poles should fight only Poles, but when they reach some good level they should check up what is their real value comparing to other top polish boxers in the division.
Thanks. im going to be using it for a quite some time, finnaly found the right one Man... I used to have a awesome black and white picture of Wlodarczyk looking all aggressive and he had a PROSTO hoody on. Man i lost that ****in pic ive spent hours one day trying to find it,lol. I have it on my other PC but id have to get a program to restore it cause it accidentally got deleted.
Agree, than i disagree... I rather see Jonak vs. Proksa than Jonak or Proksa fighting another garbageman or cab driver like Coyle or Petrovics. I think its time to step it up to a second teir fighter now, no more third or 4th teir fighters. Ill be honest, i dont think ive even seen Proksa-Coyle cause its all the same really. I know hes taking it easy and moving up slowly, but it just don't interest me as much anymore. Now is the time to fight second teir fighters. Proksa had a injury so he has a legitamite excuse for fighting Coyle, but now its time to up it a little. Also,1 loss doesn't ruin a career. Look at Wlodarczyk and Adamek, still going strong after Cunningham / Dawson. Im tired of having to watch the same Polish guys fighting these no hoppers... Then when they move up from a 4th teir fighter, to a strong second teir fighter, they will lack a lot, kinda like Andrzej Fonfara did, and more recently Wilczewski Time to descide who should we really look forward to as being one of the best our nation has to offer. Either Proksa or Jonak.... and im all for taking this risk. Janik should fight Masternak as well, i think it miught be a little early for Szpilka tho, but in a year or 2, he will be ready. I think Bartnik could rough him up right now. That would be a dumb move on his part... 6 fights and you wanna fight a Olympic medalist? Umm, no... Golota vs. Adamek on the other hand is just a **** fight, but its just all for paper
