Około północy poinformowaliśmy naszych czytelników, że Tomasz Adamek (38-1, 26 KO) ma niewiele głosów w ankiecie przygotowanej przez portal yahoo.com, w której pada pytania kto powinien być następnym przeciwnikiem Bernarda Hopkinsa (49-5-1, 32 KO). W ankiecie umieszczonej na stronie w rubryce o tematyce bokserskiej mamy do wyboru cztery opcje. Po godzinie 9:30, po oddaniu ponad 21 tysięcy głosów nasz mistrz notował jedynie 7%. Obecnie, po godzinie 13:00 oddano już prawie 30 tysięcy głosów, z czego 25% na Tomasz Adamka. Do pokonania został już tylko Roy Jones Jr., który notuje 47%.

It's not surprising, Adamek is not a big name in boxing here in the U.S outside of the Polish community. How can you expect anybody to vote for you if they don't even know who you are. But everybody knows Roy Jones.

You are right, they wouldnt buy the PPV because they would likely have it for free on Polsat or something. lol :yep Adamek is a pretty big draw in Poland, as you probably know, so it is not surprising to see the votes for Adamek skyrocket after the link was posted. Hey it is fair game, the poll is in a U.S website, maybe just goes to show how much Americans really care about boxing, and their boxers.

 

Naaaa youre wrong! i thought u know! they re cheating to vote as many times as they want to, not only once , delete ur cookies from yahoo website and then u can vote again , thats what the Poles do... this is why i called it Pathetic , and btw i meant the US guys who voted on that Poll before Poles did , they were random ppl(who wouldnt be buying ppv) not boxing fans as the poll Is on Yahoo something like our Onet or WP. etc which means there is alot of BS. but i guess you already know this..

None the less, I hope Adamek gets the fight. It will be interesting and I am fairly confident Adamek can beat Hopkins.. it will also give him the exposure he very much needs.

about voting, well, by voting by Poles Adamek gets percent, and it may look pathetic, now nobody knows him, but when Amercians look Adamek has the half of votes, maybe they will interest who is that guy? you can takie it as a marketing move and consider it as a promotion stuff. It's not such stupid as you think it is, maybe HBO would follow this voting and it will become the one of factors to make it happen, cuz they will think like 'people want it, let's make that fight!'. If Diablo blows this again, i dont see him doing anything more meaningful at CW. I know he should of won that Fragomeni fight, but i expected much more from Diablo. Hes got a good opportunity on his hands and its time to use it!

He seemed rusty and bent in the first fight, now he should be even better condition, got that rust off.... If everything is as good, Wlodarczyk TKO 10. Same prediction as i made before.

Wlodarczyk needs to keep his distance this time and fight him with aggression and persice defence like he did vs. Rudiger May.
