This is obviously a safe prep for a Klitschko fight, at least size and reach wise. Adamek better be careful though, Grant can put a lot of leverage into those punches and has incredible reach. Other than that, TA should outbox him with no problem. I have no issues with this fight considering that a) all the title holders are busy and are not considering Adamek b) this is a "safe" learning oppurtunity c) it may lead to a title eliminator in a very short span of time (December is being discussed against Peter).

Of course, a lot of people thought that Adamek would get the title shot right after beating Arreola, but mostly because of the Haye situation this is not happening. Also, I feel HBO wants more exposure for TA before setting up a high profile fight for him. The one with Arreola didn't have the viewership that they were expecting.

I agree. To me Diablo is the most powerful fighter in the CW div.

Well 2 more days till Klitschko - Sosnowski.

Gotta say as little chances I give Sosnowski to win this, I will still want to watch it with the hope that it will be one of the biggest upsets of all time. Damn, that would be SOME ****! :good

I'll probably maybe catch the fight at a friends house, hes got canal plus sport or w.e so I guess they will be showing it. Good luck to Sosnowski, I hope he at least connects with Vitalis chin a couple of times.

did sosnowski's defeat get a lot of publicity in poland?

is he a star over there, due to his brave effort vs an opponent far too tall?

would there be money for a fight with adamek?

adamek does like to stay busy and maybe this could happen next year, if he has to wait on his title shot or the next HBO date...

Seems to be on the websites front pages, but I havent seen any news on TV yet.... probably because I havent watched TV since the fight.

I think Adamek would beat Sosnowski worse then Vitali did. Was pretty impressed with Sosnowski honestly. At first it seemed like Vitali tried to carry him for a bit. But it took him all the way to round 10. Not bad for a guy who was supposed to get destroyed.

Sadly, Albert does not have the natural skill, size or strength to defeat Vitali. IMO, even today's Golota might me more effective, providing he's fit and healthy.

Even tho Albert lost, he defiantly proved himself as a potential top 10 fighter.

    Bring on Adamek.
