Huge dissapointment with Proksa.

I understand he wants to stay busy... if fighting a tomato can once a year is busy.. but w/e.

Article says he has some pain in his bicep too, so he doesnt want to make it worse... I dunno, worthless opponent. He better have another fight like 2 months after that.. one with an opponent who actually won something.

Thanks for posting up that Masternak fight, was looking for that.

 

To expand even more on Proksa. The guys has talent, he knows it, everyone around him probably tells him this, yet he has been stagnating and not advancing at all in his career.

He is the man, and he could put his foot down and do something for himself as far as getting more, better fights, something towards advancing yourself. Get rid of your manager or promoter or whatever needs to go, that is not serving its functions. Seems he just isnt that hungry, and just doesnt want it. Look at Adamek for example, guy worked his ass off, and still does even at the level he is at. While Proksa seems perfectly content fighting low level opposition every 6 months, and not moving up the ladder, if he had any motivation and will to move up, I think he would have done so by now, especially at this stage in his career, and at this stage in his life. If not now, then when? What is he waiting for?

I think Proksa will end up being an under-acheiver. I don't know his personal situation and how it affects his career, surely other variables come into play, but he simply seems to have no will to do anything for himself other then take what he is handed.. which clearly isnt much as nobody in his team seems to give a **** about him. :-(

 

Boxing is like a "part time job" for him.....kinda like Majewski too imo....

Yeah he did dissapear for no reason at one point and took a year off.I read somewhere that he fell in love and put Boxing aside.I guess that is what seemsm to be the case.He isnt fully dedicated to Boxing at all times.

Adamek fight comin up soon. Heard rumors about Hayes promoter or manager throwing Adameks name around as a possible opponent for him. :think

Adamek's fight is coming, so I'm also back About rumours what you heard, in polish media there was one time that Adamek, Harrison and Shannon Briggs are considered to get the WBA shot in Fall. It was probably said by Booth (Haye's coach and manager?). Would be great.

What about Adamek-Grant ? any predictions guys ? Weird. I'm pretty calm, altho it's Adamek's the biggest opponent and he has never fought someone like Grant. Anyway right now, I bet Adamek UD + 1 KD included.

Adamek should make easy work of Grant, imo. Ill say Adamek TKO 10 -12
