If they fight Adamek will lose earlier than peter. He has literally no chance against wlad. I dont even think it requires a further explanation.

No doubt everyone is beatable. I just don't think Adamek has the tools for it.

His speed is good, but Wladimir is no slouch, and is almost about as quick as Adamek. He has good footwork as well. Adameks lateral movement is good, and effective. But for it to work he has to hit his opponent. His lateral movement alone won't get him inside that Wlad jab. The second he does get inside Wladimir will just lean all over him and tie him up. If he stays on the outside of it he will never get in striking range. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I know Wladimir just got off a convincing win, and everybody thinks he is unbeatable at the moment, of course he is. Just I don't think Adamek has the size to do it.

I really just can't picture him getting to Wlad. The second he gets close enough Wladimir will just step in and lean all over him.

I think his main chance is counterpunching, or catch Wladimir while going in. Thing is, Wladimir is busy with that jab. He pumps it for the full 12 rounds. Not like Grant where Adamek was almost hitting him at will. Wladimir has perfected his tactic, and it is very effective.

Peter last night imo didnt do ****. Only gave an effort to get inside till about the 4th round, then did absolutely nothing for the rest of the fight other then dive in with his head down and hold. Adamek will be completely different I know, but I just don't see him implementing an effective strategy that could get to Wladimir. Also Wladimir will be the hardest hitting fighter he has ever faced.

I really hate to be talking like this, but it's just the way I see it. I really hope Adamek gets Vitali instead of Wladimir. Vitali has a different style, and I can see Adamek outworking him. Not Wlad, though. Where he spoils the fight with all his leaning and clinching.

I agree with all. To beat Wlad you need to have good movement, speed, power and chin. While Adamek has movement, speed and chin he has no power to hurt Wladimir.

Vitali is different story. While he is even bigger than Wladimir, I see a small opportunity to outpoints him.

The Wolak - Chavez fight is going to be awesome. Really hope he pulls through. Have a gut feeling he will pull it off.

Here is an interview with him. He looks like little Mac in there. Some old school hardcore gym. Good stuff, good atmosphere.

You're way too pessimistic. I would counter your pessimism by stating that,in reality,
Wlad hasn't faced anyone better than Adamek in his entire career. You can reference Chambers as the closest quality fighter, however, Chambers never accomplished anything close to what Adamek has, in other words he wasn't proven and he did suffer that loss to Povetkin. If Adamek can land on Wladimir (and we've already seen that he can get by a long fighter's reach...so i would give him a fair chance in this regard) and sustain hard punches, he can win on points. Adamek can outpunch and outmaneouver Wlad.

Lastly, Peter is no where in Adamek's league. The guy totally relies on his illegal rabbit punching and his chin is over rated too. No movement, no skill, no comparison. You think Adamek would be as stupid as Peter, expending all that energy to get inside and then do nothing when he's there? Peter was clueless, Adamek will be way more constructive than him.

Im just trying to be rationalistic, im his longtime fan and have been defending his quality on polish boards for years. But in this case its exactly like Turbina said, he doesnt have the TOOLS to beat wlad. He may be better than peter, better than sanders even better than brewster. He could beat all of them in their primes altho its not so certain. But its about styles in this particular fight, adamek hasnt got physical strength to do much.

    # attributes u need against wlad to atleast be competetive are as follows;

    Relatively big size
    big Physical strength
    Good heavyweight punch

At hw Adamek has none of them. So while he can be the best p4p or resume-wise fighter wlad has faced for a long time, he wont do much better than the rest.

I get what you're saying. The majority opinion is that the only way to beat Wlad is by a KO, as was done to him multiple times already. I disagree with that. I don't think Wlad is a superb boxer and I think he can be outboxed, that's all. Of course, Chambers tried that and he came up empty I get it. But again, if Adamek finds a way to land and take Wlad's punches, he should be able to outbox Wlad (i..e, land more punches) for the simple reason that Adamek can throw more punches than Wlad.

Guys do you know around what time Wlodarczyk fights tonight. I know the televised event begins at 10:20pm EST, but will they go straight to the main event or is there a fight televised beforehand. I`m asking cause im out of the house and will be home at 11:30.

Also if anyone is interested there is legal paid service that has Polsat (and other polish channels) in excellent quality and they allow a free 3 days trial. So the free trial will allow you to watch the fight for free.

    So Wlodarczyk defended his belt...

On one hand the fight turned out to be better than I expected (that maybe because I didn't expect too much), on the other hand it is not good prognostic to see Wlodarczyk fighting a competitive fight with someone like Robinson.
