I agree. Proksa had no problems with most of his opponents so far, and I think it is time to step up. He was outweighted by almost 10 pounds (153 pounds, Proksa 162) and even that was on his 'heavy' day since he usually fights at welterweight. I really like Proksa, but come on...
What was his weight in his recent fight? I remember seeing 162! on Fightnews, whereas his oppoenet was 153 if I recall. Do you think that was a type O??? Why 9 lbs. difference, unless Proksa was actually 152. Can't he get down to 147 & kick the GUWNO outta Floyd?:yep
I dont think it was a typo cause his little mongoose of an opponent looked small. Proksa's original opponent pulled out 2 days before the fight so they took anyone that was willing to fight on 2 days notice.
So he's fighting around the middleweight limit? Damn, I wouldn't want to see him in there with Kelly.
For sure, this fight is all about money - hell, even both Michalczewski and Roccigiani already try to lure Eubanks and Maske in a seniors tournament...
Heres a treat! I posted this in the Classic Forum & got 12 hits/no responses. So screw that place. This is some good old footage (with excellent slo-mo's) of Anthony Florian Zaleski vs Rocky Graziano III. They fought 3 times in 1946, 47 & 48. Zale won the 1st, Rocky the 2nd & Zale in the rubber match. Zaleski is kind of a stalker, like Pavlik. And whats with that ref? Graziano was 1/2 dead on the ropes & wipes his gloves & lets him get more punishment. Different era... The was, The Man of Steel, from Gary, Indiana. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INOxzmJoTEo&feature=related Enjoy one of great Polish fighters of all time!:cheers
I guess you could say Zale had a "leaping lef hook" at times. You could see he wanted Graziano on the floor, was not gonna take any of the Rocks wild crap this time & truely wanted to avenge his loss from their 2nd meeting.
