Time will tell. He hasnt lost a step with the extra weight and looked just as quick. Not getting hit too much is something Adamek said he and his trainer have worked on.Adamek learned how to roll with a punch to take some steam off of it but in general he said he will keep his feet constantly moving.
Proksa has got together with some new strength(sp?) trainer who was a body building Champ in Poland. He says work with his new trainer is very hard but he has big goals for 08 and is holding nothing back in training. He gritting his teeth and training to the MAX!!!He hopes that this year will be better than last which he wishes for himself and "dear" fans! :happy Proksa did what he could in his last fight with ****** man.It was a damn funny fight! Adamek with Main Events now, it's been confirmed on the Polish forums (Ziggy will be his co-promoter). That is great news for his career. Negotiations for an eliminator have starteed with O'neil Bell, who IMO is a bad matchup for Adamek (as a lot of the top criusiers are, lol).
TA is not wasting any time trying to get himself atop the cruiserwt. division. He'll outbox Bell...I hope.:think
Former WBC light heavyweight champ Tomasz Adamek, now a cruiserweight, will remain in Poland although he´s promoted by Main Events. The plan is to have Adamek fight O´Neil Bell in a IBF eliminator. Tomasz will not fight any tuneups prior to this. All or nothing you gotta love it!!!
Adamek is too small for the elite cruiserweights, and this is coming from an Adamek fan. Proksa is the truth, but I am a little worried about his stamina, he has a tendency looking like a southpaw version of Karmazin, holding his hand low without popping that jab... at least he's got his feet under him, so he's not too open for that right hand. Proksa looks strong though :deal
