As if you ever supported them in the past. You have always been negative. Dont know about you but i have thoroughly enjoyed watching Proksa come up.It's not too often when you get too watch a fighter make his debut and get too watch everyone of his fights.
Yeah, thats great...Wally is like 42% from 3 pt. land. But I think Ben Wallace has seen better days. Maybe he'll snap out of it & actually play hard in Cleveland. Good luck with them Cav's!:smoke
If we all emailed Brain Kenny & the progarm direction at ESPN, they might take a closer look at Proksa as a possibility to showcase.
Champion boxer joins Polish educational campaign Warsaw, Feb. 25, 2008 (CWNews.com) - On February 21, a noted Polish prize-fighter read Bible stories to children at a parish in Kety, Poland, as part of a campaign to promote reading skills. Tomasz Adamek-- the former World Boxing Council light-heavyweight champion and current International Boxing Organization cruiserweight champion-- read to hundreds of children gathered at Sacred Heart parish. The boxer told children that when he was younger, he was an altar boy and considered a vocation to the priesthood. Adamek remarked, “Divine Providence had other plans. A priestly vocation requires a clear calling.” He added, “I am a Catholic and it is normal that I pray and live my faith.” The appearance by 31-year old Adamek was in conjunction with a campaign to honor Blessed Celina Borzecka, the founder of the Resurrectionist sisters, who was beatified last October 27.
The Hammer is gone (the sponsor) but Knockout Promotions remains and promote along with Main Events and Warriors the IBF eliminator at cruiser between Tomasz Adamek and O´Neill Bell April 12 in Katowice, Poland. The undercard will feature jr middle Damian Jonak and cruiser Tomasz Hutkowski, both in WBC Youth titles. Heavies Andrew Wawrzyk and Marcin Najman clash for the Polish heavyweight title.
If you cant see Proksas unique talent than i feel for you. I dont remember Kostecki being anything special though he may accomplish something. BTW Proksa is too old to fight for the youth titles now.
