12.04.2008. Grzegorz Proksa odniósł 14. zawodowe zwycięstwo, wygrywając w Castlebar (Irlandia) z Jairo Alvarezem z Wenezueli. Po sześciorundowej walce Polak wygrał na punkty 59-55, walcząc od drugiej rundy z kontuzją lewej dłoni.

Damnit he hurt his hand again....

 

Congratulation to Grzegorz for winning the fight. I hope the injury is not too serious.

Those ****in injuries. A 4 month layoff and his hands still not 100%. That's not good.

But Boxrec show him fighting 5-16-08. He's gonna have another fight in 1 month?

And whats this bad news about an injured hand? He did that this past weekend vs Alvarez?

He is planning on having another fight before comming to the States. Which is pretty good imo.

Yes. Proksa said he injured his hand during the fight...hopefully it gets better in time in order for him to fight next month.

 

Damn. About his hand, WHY does there always have to be some kind of issue with out favorite Polish fighters?

Proksa has all the talent in the world, but if he's gonna have chronic hand problems, he could end up on the scrap heep.:think
