Cunningham seems uncoordinated and kind of clumsy to me. Also he cant fight on the inside. He gets away with a lot of mistakes b/c of his height and decent speed for a tall guy. Adamek can catch him or slow him down to the body and just land the harder shots. Cunningham is not that elusive. He gets hit.

It is hard for 200 lb men to fight like PBF.

Adamek is no defensive wizard himself. :bbb

Disagree. Cunningham is very fluid and slick. Combined with speed, he's tough to catch and when you do catch him he has a chin. Adamek is a nice boxer/puncher but he simply is not as skilled as Steve Cunningham.

I don't see how he wins this fight, because there's no way Adamek is going to outbox Cunningham and he's not going to sacrifice his measured attack to go for the kill.

This matchup is a stylistic nightmare for Adamek.

You must have a different definition or something. Cunningham looks like a ragdoll at all times.

As I said in another thread, cunningham is a huge favorite with the odds makers. $1.36 to $3.00 for Adamek. I might throw a little bit Adamek, just enough to brag about later if I win, and to shrug off if I lose.

Im a big fan of Adameks style; good combinations, decent power, great heat and chin all combined with a lazy defense which makes his fight very entertaining.

Although sometimes he shows good defense and movement.

Only one loss, against the next big thing at LHW when TA was struggling to make weight and changed trainers to Mcgirt (curse) right before the fight.

Thats what I notice. He always looks like he is on unsteady legs. He is not fluid at all to me and more unpolished. He throws wide wild shots with his right hand which is doo doo. He has a good left hand and hooks off the jab great. But not much power.

Adamek is a really good fighter and beaten "Supernova" Oneill Bell. Cunningham should have his hands full, but I'm expecting him to weather this Polish storm for a UD.

Those are good odds for Adamek, however i would not bet much on this one.

Sad to say, the oddsmakers got this one spot on. Steve a big favourite.

I will be rooting for Adamek, but I wont bet any money on him. IMO he punches above his weight and couldnt carry his firepower with him to the cruiser weight division. He looked totally average against that journeyman from Croatia. I am not really sold on Cunningham though.
    Nevertheless,Cunningham by point decision.

I think you guys are both wrong. He is constantly moving at all times, both laterally and with body movement. Don't mistake leg and upper body movement as "unsteady." You'd be wrong. Cunningham is a very good defensive fighter and he even has power when he sets down on his punches.

    4 fights 3 KO's at CW...

I dont recall Adamek being known as a "power puncher" at LHW.He is a worker who doesnt look for the KO but rather scores them as the fight goes on.

I still dont get your assesment of the fight with the Croat. He won 8 of 8 rounds on the 3 judges cards??I only saw 3 of them and from what i saw he dominated and was in control of every second of the round.

I watched the fight. Adamek looked bad, the worst he had looked since being drained vs Chad Dawson.

Apparently he had a high fever the week of the fight, but the opponent was not a real threat so he decided to fight anyway.

Adamek looked much better in his last 2 fights.

A clean sweep on an off-night...not bad.
