I was responding to a guy who claimed that he would give Mayweather credit when he fights champs from his division. All of these guys were champs in Floyd's divison(or a division above Floyd) when Floyd fought them. All of them, except Judah, were also rated top 3 in there divsion when Floyd fought them. Baldo was the recognized champ and Oscar was still considered a top 20 p4p fighter overall by many.

    Couple of things.

Moneymay is a **** name if ur trying to convince people that ur unbais.

Mayweather is not P4P No1, is someone put, nor is he even No1 welterweight.

Once he retired he was no longer No1 P4P, same with No1 Welterweight, once he retired that title went too.
To be No1 at welterweight u have to fight welterweights, and believe it or not Mayweather fans, it been nearly 3 years since Baldomir.

And Mayweather-JMM to be "Number One/Numero Uno" is rubbish due to then unfair odd's against JMM, now before all the Floyd fan's start bitching and crying.
JMM by signing for this fight agreed to the fight at Mayweather's weigh, inturn taking away any advantages he may of had.
And Floyd by signing to fight a lightweight, no matter how good, is cherry picking and the same as De La Hoya cherry picked Pacquiao for money.

Golden Boy are really starting to get desperate for there fighters to beat Mayweather if the put JMM(a small lightweight) in against him.

Now no disrespect to JMM but i think he would struggle to beat Mayweather at lightweight, let alone welterweight.

But i for one will be betting on JMM just in the hope the something crazy happens like in Tokyo 19 years ago

Why doesn't he fight someone where weight isn't an issue then? There are PLENTY of top prospects out there so WTF is his problem?
