The potential "friendship" of ricky and paulie..

Maybe Hatton is looking to expand his gay fanbase:hey

 

Even Mayweather and Hatton ended up as friends after their fight, so a friendship with Paulie doesn't seem that strange.

Hatton's not an obnoxious guy and seems like he would get on with anybody not named Junior Witter.

Maybe Ricky's got him all matey for when he has Polly fighting next year (Ricks retired) for the same title.

Ricky is Oscar.........ok maybe not,just a thought.

perhaps its a ploi by the hitman so that malignaggi starts liking him. After all its much easier beating the **** out of someone thats been bad mouthing you rather than saying you could be friends.

 

on sky sports hatton said that after the fight they could sit down and be mates if paulie shut his mouth for 5 minutes

Yep.I agree with too many of you guys to quote everybody,but they are both decent,friendly guys...so why not?
They live on different continents,but in in their rarefied,Rich sporting world...when they travel to each others places, they will mix in those elite Boxing circles and bump into each other and likely be 'matey'
Its not the same as you or me going for a pint with a mate,but its a superficial famous boxer type of friendship,yes.

 

Missed that one, I only ever heard him talking about how good looking he thought Haye was.

 

As far as I'm aware all Hatton said is that "perhaps we can be friends after the fight".

It's not like he handed him half a heart gold painted eternal friendship locket, or something...
