I had always "known" about Bob's stangle hold on the media, but now after the last year or two I know that I never knew ****.

How people buy his bull **** is mind boggling to me.

Yep, and he also worked in DC after finishing law school (pretty sure on this). So, he knows how the PR game works at a high level.

It takes time to learn how to work the PR game. Arum has been doing it for decades. And he's been doing it primarily in boxing.

I agree with a lot of what you say here. However, with all that said, how is Floyd to simply "Fight Pac" when as you've said there, Arum will not let it go down? (all the while blaming Floyd)

It's true. PR wise, he's damn near untouchable. Boxing media IS Bob Arum's.

Had Floyd agreed to abide by the same testing rules that every other boxer abides by in the state of Nevada, the only state he would accept this fight in, it would have happened a few years ago. FACT!

Let's not forget that Pac agreed to more rigorous testing prior to that fight except needle sticks starting at 3 weeks prior. Unlimited urine and the needle in the locker room after the fight.

Hasn't Floyd promised there will be no 50/50 split since? This fight is done. Stick a fork in it.

 thanks for proving my point. Arum went and lied to the public and said Floyd didn't compromise when in fact he did and offered a 14 day cutoff and the mediator had to go and correct Arum.
What you quoted was Arum's bull**** that the mediator had to go and clear up.

Do I have to remind you that the Mediator had to come out and tell Arum to stop lying to the media :patsch
All that matters was Pacquiao wanted a 24 day cutoff and Floyd wanted 14.
Pac chose 24 because he was caught giving blood 24 days before the Hatton fight.
Floyd chose 14 because he was meeting them more than half way to compromise

the lie you are claiming that Arum was saying was when he (Arum), in media interviews, was claiming that Floyd was just ****in' around. Arum said that Floyd was never serious about the fight or the mediation and it was just a waste on everybody's time.....or words to that effect. it was not about because floyd countered the offer during mediation. there was a compromise, pac agreed, floyd rejected it.

...for the record, i believe arum, floyd was just ****in' around.

:rofl This **** just does not end with you ******s. 24 day cut off is a bull**** compromise. :rofl It was a steroid users compromise. Random is random clown. Dont get mad that the public thought 14 days was more than fair yet pacaroid did not agree.

There was no ****ing compromise on Pac's part. He was forced to do 24 days or look like a jackass because he was caught doing 24 days before another fight.

And yes Floyd rejected 24, but offered 14. Why didn't Pac agree to that? I personally think 14 days is too much time, but Floyd was generous enough to offer it and everybody involved acknowledged it to be true
