and emmanuel was clever enough to pass up on 14 and now has to do it the whole way which actually goes against what he prefers you also get to see his fans go from arguing about how 24 is more than enough to 14 to 7 etc, they fold each time emmanuel tells them to
it so sad isn't man. His dumbass rejected 14, but now has to do the whole thing. And his fans have to change their stance over and over. I always felt 14 days was too much time, but 7 days was fair enough even though you can still cheat within 7 days
if we go by what you said that floyd countered the 24 with 14 during the mediation, was that the deal that both sides struck?:think and if the deal that was struck was floyds counter to 24 which was 14, why did Floyd reject it?:think:think why would floyd reject his counter?:think:think:think
Floyd didn't reject his offer. Pacquiao did. http://www.boxing scene.com/pacquiao-clottey-head-dallas-arum-sounds-off--24575 :rofl give up
what a smart business man emmanuel rejects offers in attempt to make it look like the other party is being unreasonable he must also be in control over at top rank and bob actually isn't ordering him what to do
-again, if floyd countered the 24 with 14 during the mediation like you said, was that the deal that was struck? -if pac agreed to what was on the table, would that mean he agreed in mediation to the 14 floyd countered? -if floyd countered with 14 and pac accepted it, why would floyd reject what he countered?
atsch you're looking too much into it. Don't rewrite history Floyd wanted 14 after wanting 0 Pac wanted 24 after wanting 30 Arum actually agreed with 14, but they asked Pac and he turned it down
There was never an article that I saw where Floyd himself was quoted to offer a 14 day cutoff on random blood testing before the mediation. When GBP put out a press release with a video before the mediation, they claimed that before the Hatton fight, blood was drawn from Pac 14 days before the fight. Schaeffer was the one that was quoted as offering the 14 days because of what he thought that was done before. Pac's team disagreed therefore rejecting the 14, blood was actually drawn 24 days before the fight. Less than a week later, Ellerbe took back Schaeffer's offer. that was the first offer. but again... - if floyd countered the 24 with 14 during the mediation like you said, was that the deal that was struck? -if pac agreed to what was on the table, would that mean he agreed in mediation to the 14 floyd countered? -if floyd countered with 14 and pac accepted it, why would floyd reject what he countered?
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4806180 Floyd Mayweather- "Throughout this whole process I have remained patient but at this point I am thoroughly disgusted that Pacquiao and his representatives are trying to blame me for the fight not happening when clearly the blame is on them," Mayweather said in a statement. "First and foremost, not only do I want to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to whip his punk ass." "Before the mediation, my team proposed a 14-day, no blood testing window leading up to the fight. But it was rejected," Mayweather said. "I am still proposing the 14-day window but he is still unwilling to agree to it, even though this is obviously a fair compromise on my part as I wanted the testing to be up until the fight and he wanted a 30 day cutoff. The truth is he just doesn't want to take the tests. "In my opinion it is Manny Pacquiao and his team who are denying the people a chance to see the biggest fight ever. I know the people will see through their smoke screens and lies. I am ready to fight and sign the contract. Manny needs to stop making his excuses, step up and fight."
] BS!! First off, Arum is no PR genius. He's an asswipe and very likely the main reason the fight hasn't happened yet. Second, Floyd would definitely not come back with a "We asked for 50/50" ****. Floyd ain't about to give Pac or Arum no 50%. Hell No!! 30%, 40% tops. If Floyd could cut Arum out of the financial picture altogether, is the only way he'd agree to maybe give Pac 45%. Idiot middlemen like Arum and Hershman are the biggest problem in boxing. These bitches block many a great fight. The sport would be better off without them.:deal
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4803490 With lawyers at their side, Top Rank's Arum, company president Todd duBoef, Golden Boy's Schaefer and De La Hoya, along with Mayweather adviser Al Haymon, spent nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif. This content is protected On Wednesday, they were back in their offices -- This content is protected This content is protected Arum said Pacquiao agreed to shorten the window for a blood test to 24 days before the fight. In order to receive a Nevada boxing license, Pacquiao took the standard annual blood test 24 days before his May 2009 fight with Ricky Hatton. This content is protected ," Arum said. "Haymon and Schaefer tried to convince Floyd all [Tuesday night] and [Wednesday] and he wouldn't agree to it. He didn't want the fight. He never wanted the fight. I always knew the fight wouldn't happen." .... i'm done.
Agree with middleman part. Disagree with the split. Pac has earn and split of the revenue. If either one of them fixed their mouths to demand more than 50-50 split, I'm calling them a ducker straight up
Arum agreed to 14 day cutoff, but Pacquiao rejected it. Floyd's team offered 14 days after wanting no cutoff What the **** don't you understand. Both teams have backed up what I said. Stop arguing with ****ing facts
