It is a bit annoying seeing Price on ppv again. We also get the whole "he's such a nice guy, one of boxing's good guys, really lovely guy" rubbish every time he fights that somehow seems to absolve him of any responsibility.

As sad as it is, Price is a story that sells. He has the arsenal to obliterate any heavyweight on the planet. His right cross is as dangerous as Wilder's.

Throw in the fact he is a very likeable person who is as vulnerable as they come, Price is almost a 'bonus' edition to any ppv.

Unfortunately though, if he doesn't give up boxing soon, you have to fear for his long term health.

The technology is great these days - 4k TVs, HDMI's and now Chromecast to TV with pictures now in HD and UHD.

The bin lids on the way out along with Pay per View fees

How many times has Allen quit, folded or been knocked spark out?

Allen has never pretended or claimed to be anything other than he is, he is a bit of a chancer but he has personality and is very funny and people are enjoying watching him, it won't last forever and he knows that, if he blows the opportunities given to him then he'll regret it.

Price has been given chance after chance after chance and failed, yet he talks like he is one win away from the big time.

It's delusional and in my opinion he is delusional.

Price comes across to me like a bitter man who believes he has been cheated out of his destiny but has yet to accept it.

He obviously believed his own hype and now because he didn't win a world title, he isn't a multi millionaire, he didn't achieve what many believed he would I should have to pad his pension again and again by accepting him on every PPV event?

I have to watch his sorry and pitiful performances on Sky PPV cards until somebody tells him the brutal and honest truth and cuts him loose.

    Hopefully that happens very soon.

Price can't have any genuine visions on a title shot. But what he has is big power and he is a likeable bloke, in interesting fights. Only because we don't know what will happen..
I don't know what he has made lately, but I suspect its decent, not life changing, but he keeps going.

Dave "hamster lungs" Price, I like it....lol, I have to agree though. The quit job against Kuzmin, and that's what it was has been a bit of a curtain call on plumber Dave for me. I remember Kal Yafai having a full on, plain for everyone to see torn bicep and he stuck it through to the end for the win.

Dave Price is just too nice for the fight game I'm afraid

Just make Price vs Allen, the loser stays off all major shows.

The casuals like David Price because he's usually entertaining and theres going to be a brutal ko either way.

I know the "hardcores" would love a 36 minute jab fest by some vanilla midgets but sadly enough, Price sells

"David Price, Come on down !"

Literally David, Just come and lay down again after taking a jab.

Saying that, I've never seen Big Pricey fight live so I'm looking forward to it, hopefully I'll get a chant of "Oh Dear, Oh dear" going round the O2.

So Pricey suffers a serious injury on 22/09 against Kuzmin that he says means 6 months out the ring.

But here he is back 3 months later in the ring on 22/12.

What is the story with this injury? Did he just quit because it was clear he was getting knocked out in the 5th anyway?

If he can’t deal with little, then he has a big problem.
