He's a legitimate champion, I'll give him that, I think it's hilarious how he name drops guys like Gonzalez and talks about getting the fight made if they want it, comedy gold. He runs his mouth like an absolute fruitcake but it's just harmless fun and it's done in such a way that I find it quite endearing. I'll say it again, I like him, he's different, he's entertaining and anyone that can sit in front of Kugan, look him in the eyes and continuously mock him for thirty minutes is fine by me.
I agree, it's entertaining and harmless and even "quite endearing" as you put it. But .. ... I'd very possibly feel very differently if I actually encountered the guy in real life. He's pretty disrespectful and he just aint normal. I'd very possibly end up wanting to cave his head in.
He's different in real life. He's a nice guy and happy to take pictures with the his belts with the kids at the gym. It's just an act like you said to increase his profile. He's not a world-beater but he isn't that bad, that's why he's a Commonwealth Champion and did well as an amateur.
Yeah, I suspect he's a nice guy in real life .... most of time. But I also suspect the "character" he plays gets under people's skin, and he's upset people along the way. Starting with Kugan and Barry Jones. Something's holding him back from being promoted in the UK and I don't just think it's his on camera "act" or him being 'no good at boxing' or because he prefers to duck UK fighters. I think he probably took that act outside of the ring to a couple of places he shouldn't have bothered, maybe upset some promoters and matchmakers and trainers trying to be too clever with that act - and when you upset a couple of the wrong people, no one else wants to work with you.
I thought it was brilliant how he kept saying puthay and views. All he needed to add was that he was sexually out of control
One thing I liked about that interview was the opportunity he gave the other chap to get some limelight. Helping out a mate, thought that was great. I then went and searched out his other notorious interviews just to see how much has changed and watched bits and bobs of this one: This content is protected Exactly the same happened, he insisted his mate "big Marcus" gets some of Kugans time for an interview. repeating it a few times. I thought that was great again. Chisora would be happy with the man sharing some of the pie that's for sure.
After Vijender Singhs hilarious comedy loss to a Russian were he got knocked down about 7 times yet the corrupt ref didn't call about half of them This content is protected Prince Patel is now Indias p4p number 1
I find him entertaining. Not sure of his actual ability but he's padded out a decent record and deserves a chance in the UK. Hopefully a promoter/manager takes him on. Would be nice to see him fight Edwards, purely for the build-up. Disappointed we didn't actually get to hear why Kugan actually threatened him.
He's a joke fighter, clearly. Not one person he's fought even has their own Wiki page. The classic sign of a bum carousel.
I do not agree that Wiki page is main criteria to value fighters. This is too much pro western biased stuff and actually Wiki is too pro english language origin ppl thing. Some fighters appeared to have wiki pages when they were mandatory for a world title. Just not proper country of origin. Wiki is a bit . From other aspect, if lurking in fighter's record boxer had fought and their opponents record, yeah, it is . Yeah.
