Can believe so many guys think this is about how Chris "LOOKS". I mean, How stupid can you be???????????
It's an assumption based on how he looks. If he looks fat, then he doesn't give a **** about training. Simple as that.
Yes, I imagine most all fighters get hungry when they train and burn off calories. Its just that most pro fighters have self control and discipline. This guy does not. And the result is he'll be thrashed, yet again, once he tries to take on anohter top ten fighter who takes his craft more seriously than his desire to overeat. North America does not claim Arreola. He's Mexican to the bone. He may be Central American, and they need to be more specific about what he's called................North America want's him, no more!
Arreola is a cool guy but damn this mother****er needs weight watchers or Atkins or something anything.
His candor and genuiness is refreshing, yes, but his saying Vitali was running and moaning like a woman, or whatever his unsportsman like nonsense was, showed he's not that cool of a guy. When you get beaten, pillar to post, as Arreola was, the opponent was apparently not running too far away from you. LOL
We are hearing the same **** about his guy as about Peter, Solis, and all the other fat ****s: "He is training...he is putting on muscle...he looks better even though he is heavier..." Remember the quote by the Peter guy: "...you can see his rib cage!" Lets stop making excuses for fat ****s. As for being a cool guy, Vitaly beat his ass and said that he would be a champ someday. Arreola repaid that kindness by talking ****. Arreola has a lot to learn in a lot of different respects.
Chris is 28-1 with 25 knockouts and his only loss is to arguably the best Heavyweight of this era. So where do people get this idea that Arreola is "out of shape" if not for the fact that theyre judging his physical appearance??? The dudes a heavyweight, people, so let him be a heavyweight. You really think that a 220 Arreola would find a way to beat Vitali? No. Then if its not broke, don't fix it. Ricky, just admit you want muscle like Ellerbe and Ill understand.
I agree that there is too much focus on his appearance. It is his skills that I am most concerned about. He is not going to change and we know this. Actually, we can assume that he will almost certainly get worse as he gets older, so forget it.
:yep He mentioned Alberto's. Its a real greasy Mexican restaurant. This is one of there dishes. This content is protected
Yes he did say those things but I thought he was respectful of Vitali in the post fight interview. Max said something like "Minto's no Vitali" and Arreola replied "No he's not but who is?" Max answered "Wladimir?" and Arreola rolled his eyes as if Wlad was ****. It was Wlad he paid no respect to. Bring on Chris Arreola vs Wladimir Klitschko :bbb:good
His wins have been over some **** awful names. His best win is Jameel Mcline - which tells you plenty about that 28-1 resume. He's out of shape because shape is more than just stamina and your physique. If you enter the ring and your only tactic is to walk straight forwards and throw, you are not in shape. Klitschko has trouble with guys that bob and weave. Arreola was so fat and lumber footed that he couldn't ****ing move that way even if he knew how to. That is out of shape.
EVERYONE gets hungry when they train. Doesn't mean you have to eat a Burger King afterwards. Most people eat a proper meal when they're done training. Why doesn't he have a chef or nutritionist? I'm sure he's got enough money. If he ate a proper meal after training he wouldn't get hungry later on and end up in Alberto's.
