You really are looking like name calling western fan. That's simple and you really are knowing reality vs real talks about fighting vs 30-35 y.o Beterbiev who according to your dreams was so bad.
Gvozdyk while had being champ in different org and Beterbiev being champ in another org had fought.
Gvozdyk did not had fight after this fight.
Ward is western hero and according to western fans better than Beterbiev and had beated him up.
Reality: Ward retired not had fought vs Beterbiev despite westerners had talked about this possible fight.

Ofc he will not get credit from any single Canelo fan. Never.

Canelo : most suitable for legacy now looks his fight vs Plant.
Canelo now does have 3 belts at SMW and Plant 1 belt.
If Canelo will fight and beat Plant, he will have all 4 most well known orgs belts and The Ring Belt and with this also will be real Lineal and Undisputed at SMW division.
    With 1 single fight. ;)
Likes he or no, if he will be totally and absolutely Undisputed at SMW, he will get damn more credit and better legacy as historical value.

Floyd Jr most likely still does not looks enough old for Canelo, therefore rematch did not had happened till today.
Otherwise: cool sales and especially if he will beat also Plant before this fight.

He's 36yo and being that old is completely valid.. There's got to be a point where you think wait a minute is Canelo cherrypicking:

36yo GGG, 36yo Mayweather, 36 yo Kovalev, small chinny Khan, small shot Cotto, 42yo Mosley, barely world level Liam Smith, inactive 160lber Billy Joe Saunders..he got beaten by Lara, but its a good name on his resume. That leaves Trout and dehydrated Jacobs as his best wins that is seriously underwhelming for the guy supposedly p4p no1 and the face of boxing.. This guy has tainted boxing so bad it makes me sick

Like come the **** on are you guys actually that naive... His team are match-makers extraordinaire.. I say that because he's fooled the general public into thinking he takes on the toughest fights but it's blatantly obvious to anyone with an ounce of critical thinking that he's cherrypicking

I don't think that Khan was chinny.
He most likely had been picked for this reason: he, despite being excellent boxer, did not looked that had high power even for welterweight division, not alone higher weight classes.
He did not had power to hurt Canelo size lads enough and this was only question of time until he will get catch with something big.
Btw even lower ranked Canelo size lad if had shelled up and walked forward, sooner or later had steam rolled Khan.
If you were real welterweight, then ofc to steam roll Khan was different world : empty dreams.

This is why the WBSS that Usyk,Smith and Taylor won (and Ward in the original Boxing Classic), as flawed as they are are still fantastic things for the boxing fan - with a couple of understandable exceptions they give us the best fighting the best in that division. No ducking, just guts and glory!

I still preferred the format of the original Super 6 because it was more of a league format, but that proved difficult to sustain with injuries and so forth.

That said, it's no surprise there has never been a WBSS in the marquee divisions with the really big names and egos. I mean if Spence and Crawford won't fight each other how the hell could you imagine them signing up to a tourney like the WBSS?

And what has your hero done to deserve a shot? Your a$$ must be melting knowing that your hero doesn't deserved a big payday? Or he chasing the ggg route searching for Walter weights to fight him? tell your hero to grow a pair and move up in weight let's see if he has the heart to be great or if he's just wasting his time like other fighter's..:deal:

Actually you're right imo Khan does not have a bad chin, it's just he leaves it open so much when he's busy throwing flashy punches and admiring his work.

He's been knocked out really three times. Against Brescott that was just terrible matchmaking from Warren chucking him in with an undefeated power puncher at the time. I have always thought Amir Khan is a far better boxer than Garcia it's just he takes so many risks and that's why I he was got time like a mf. But credit to Khan he got up several times and looked into the refs eye 30 seconds before the end of the round to say he was good to go. Against Canelo, well that was just a joke, Khan was doing well but Canelos size advantage bailed him out

Good point. Nobody gives a **** about being best anymore. They all just want to be rich and famous and then claim they are.

Everybody wants to be a gangster. Nobody wants to do gangster ****.

    Including Canelo.

When you think about it, boxing is the only sport where you can pick snd choose who you compete against.

Think of a sport, say tennis.

Well, there is a tournament, be it Wimbledon or the U.S Open, whatever, and there is a draw, players play whoever they are drawn, and they keep playing until only two remain.

You then have your final and you crown your winner.

    Football, league and Cup competitions.

Baseball, U.S football, track and field, golf...any sport I can think of ensures that every year - sometimes multiple times a year - the best play the best and you have a champion.

Boxing, however, allows the best to fight the mediocre, then not fight at all for a year, then fight someone a bitter better, then maybe you face a "contender"...but, maybe you don't.

Top fighters might go years never facing the other top fighters.

    Take Wilder and Joshua.

How long ago were they bickering back and forth?

    From 2015?

    16?

Is it 4 years, or 5?

    Longer?

    What about Fury and Joshua?

It's taken, literally, years to get this fight to the point it is now...and at any moment it could (still?) collapse.

It is very possible that, for all the talk, all the fan anticipation, the media hype, we will never see AJ vs Wilder.

I'd say it's very, very unlikely.

    Spence Jr vs Crawford?

    Will it happen?
It is very possible it could never happen, and somehow the boxing world, the fans, the media, will never hold them accountable in any meaningful way.

I think a kind of World Boxing Super Series every 2 years, with the top 8 or whatever, should be mandatory.

    No place to hide.

The best face off and you crown a champion.

You are right of course, but it would be hypocritical of me to criticise when I'm also waiting for the Canelo fight to come up before announcing my new career in professional boxing.

    Face me you coward!
