If Floyd is not willing to fight at near junior welterweight, how can you expect Pac to fight Floyd in his own turf at welter. They have to meet at the middle like in his fight w/ Marquez. Floyd will do everything to win and preserve his 0 loss. How pathetic!

If Floyd is obstinate in his demands, Pac can always fight another guy in welters who is willing to fight at a catchweight.

    What an idiot. :patsch

You do realise he's scheduled to fight next, right?, and you also DO realise he has signed to have FIVE fights. So one way or another he will end up a fighter you would like him to whether you want to accept it or not. All these "ducking" theories are coming from ******s and haters.

Remember when Pac was asked about Mosley, Marquez and others opponents during his training for Hatton?, remember what was his answer?, "I'm not overlooking Hatton and talks about other fights will come after that fight if we are victorious".

Of course Pacquiao can't be called a "ducker" for saying that as he prepares for Hatton but Mayweather is expected to give you a long list od who he's scheduled to fight next, location and purse.

    Dumbass.

I don't know if some of you guys are blind or just pretending to be stupid. Roach made it clear even BEFORE they got in the ring with DLH that if all goes well their plan is to go down to 140 and stay there, they have ZERO plans for welterweight fights or catchweight, either 140 or others can **** off. I can't blame them for their choice, they are #1 right now and if anyone wants a shot they need to play by their rules as they earned that position.

That's true ... and they made only one exception with conditions and that's because HBO starting pushing extremely hard to match Floyd {Since he unretired} and Manny up. All the Cotto rap was started by Arum and then Mosley's name got thrown into the mix.

But officially HBO is behind Floyd vs Manny in a huge way .... That's why HBO agreed to the 24/7 for the Floyd vs JMM fight ..... Because its leading to the next HUGE event Sponsored by HBO.

Also check out the comments Larry Merchant made during the Hatton\Pac prefight about Floyd's selection of opponents .... And then notice how fast he back-tracked in the post-fight.

HBO is onboard and if they have it their way Floyd will face Manny by the end of the year.

Roach wants Pac to fight Mayweather and made it clear Pac would have fought him. He was angry when Void refused to fight Pac.

Go back and check the video..roach said that "Pac wants the bigger share, Floyd wants the bigger share. Pac has an ego now and Floyd is hardheaded" So what your saying is that Roach just made that up and Pac doesnt want the bigger share?? What a joke you cats are so ****ing blind.

Pacquiao is a bigger draw than Floyd at the moment. Few casual fans pay to see someone practise the shoulder roll for 12 rounds, but many will pay to see a "Filipino whirlwind" blaze combinations across the ring.

Floyd took 2 years out and retired. Manny has been active in A BIG WAY this year. It's not maternity leave you can't come back where you left off...Floyd needs to earn his number 1 spot back.

I think you should replace the word Mayweather with Pacquiao. There is a massive amount of Pac hating going on. Lots of people trying to discredit his victories.

Pretty much everyone, including Mayweather Haters can admit the man has skills. Pac haters on the other hand are deluded and won't give him any credit.

In other words he should try to get guys that are (belong to welterweight class) willing to sacrifice their lives and fight Pac at a weight class that would only benefit Pac??????

Based on what??? Pac is a bigger draw because I say he is. dont really work. Why dont you go to work monday and tell your boss you need more money because your friend said your worth more then your getting and see what happens. The numbers say that Floyd is the bigger draw, and the fact that Floyd just saying that he was coming back overshadowed Pac vs Hatton tell us that floyd is the box office.

As far as the P4P stuff goes who cares??? You still have to fight. but I see no reason to say that floyd is number one he hasnt fought in awhile. But the money thing....Your wrong, and the bottomline is Pac isnt going to make the kind of money that he can make vs Floyd with anyother fighter.

Roach said that pre-DLH fight when everything seemed to be uncertain. After he defeated decisively Oscar and Hatton, he's now talking about Cotto, Mosley and Floyd in a catchweight. Berto now is a good prospect, even at l47, I guess.

Exactly. My 55 year old woman boss knows who Pacquiao is. She doesn't have the first clue who Mayweather is.

What Pac has achieved enters popular culture: Small asian man who is humble and from poor, tough background comes to Las Vegas and even though EVERYONE thought he would lose (DLH fight) he destroys all the bigger men like a mini tyson.

You can't make up stories like this. Mayweather's story is nowhere near as exciting.
