The numbers in the past don't mean a ****. First, there was no recession. Fans had extra money in their pocket to spend. Secondly, the numbers cannot be attributed solely to Floyd's drawing power. You've got to admit that Oscar and Hatton had more fans seeing the fight than Floyd. If I may venture to conclude, more Oscar and Hatton fans went to see Floyd lose the fight than anything. Thus, the incremental difference.

No but I know Pac will do better than Floyd if both of them fight an unrated fighters. No one will watch a boring Floyd fight. Boxing fans love to watch exciting fights of Pacquiao.

Every fighter has a great story to tell, and since you like Pac more than Floyd, Pac has the better story lol...

You tried to run this same excuse to me a while back. Now you're posting it again lol. The recession had nothing to do with ppv sales. People know how to tighten their belts if they want to see a fight. You keep saying that the other guys had more to do with the big ppv numbers than Floyd lol. Dlh never made more in one fight than he did with Floyd. Shane, Tito, and Vargas to name a few along with who ever else you want to name did not do Floyd's numbers against Dlh so stop crying about the recession.

Horrible ****ing thread. PBF's whole reason for coming back was to fight Pac eventually and take back his crown:deal Some people here are so ****ing stupid and hate filled and will say anything just to be heard and even more sad is that some idiots actually co-sign this ****. The man right now is concentrating on JMM after that lets see what he says until then give him a break.:-( IF the roles were reversed and PBF had just fought and Pac had a fight coming up soon and PBF was talking **** about Pac and saying he wanted the fight would people still bash Pac and say he's ducking PBF??? Of course not.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about how Floyd draws more PPV numbers in the USA when is from the USA himself, than a Filipino in the USA.

    Big ****ing deal.

I'm confident they will force this one to happen and won't allow Arum or anyone to ruin it.

So your saying that because they had to popular fighter in PPV's that is the reason that Floyd's did higher numbers??? If they were fighting bums on PPV that Pac would do better???

Do you know how dumb that sounds:huh But then again you and other like you make dumb comments all the time about this situation, I understand that people have opinions but its pretty ****ing hard to argue hard facts and NUMBERS.

Everything seems to be uncertain with Mayweather too as he's scheduled to fight Marquez, we can start talking about him "ducking" or "escaping" Pacquiao AFTER that fight. Marquez is not one to overlook and discuss future plans before fighting. Though Mayweather was kind enough to make it clear/obvious that his next fight is either Mosley or Pacquiao if all goes as planned.

I am a floyd fan, pac fan, shane fan, cotto fan, martinez fan......etc. im just a over all fan of boxing.....

but moneys money. the root of all evil.

lets be honest...if pac fights shane, cotto, etc....and he gets the bigger share. that share would not come close to the share that he would get for fighting mayweather.

obvoiusly mayweather wants the bigger share. say it was a 55/45 share in favor of floyd.

that 45 of a share is a bigger purse than hed get from fighting anyone else.
