The show's being put on by new promoter and great pal Keith Mayo...Jamie Cox tops a great 7 bout bill [courtsey of Frank Warren] A capacity 1700 all-seater crowd will watch Jamie top the bill on the 1st professional show to take place in Swindon in almost 20years.....those interested in tickets can call the Oasis Leisure Centre on 01793 445401.....but you will have to hurry becuase there aint many left. Fabulous night and I'd just like to say Massive big up to Keith for his commitment to bring back Professional Boxing to Swindon and ongoing support for the local amatuer boxing clubs and their supporters. Be a wicked night. Wondered if there were any other towns out there that anyone thinks would support a professional show....?
Saw this show advertised in Boxing News. Was really impressed with Jamie Cox last time I saw him on TV looks like he can go far, good to see him topping a decent looking bill in his hometown. Swindon's a bit far and bit skint at the moment but good luck with the show :good
