***The Promotion for Cotto-Mayweather sucks!***

This should make for a good 24/7, as always Floyd is Floyd, unpredictable! And Cotto, while not bringing much of the off the wall tactics, brings a lot of heart and desire into the series. I think both fighters will respect eachother through the promotions, but you never know. Floyd can try and choke Cotto during the staredown like he did Ortiz.

I think floyd generally respects cotto way more than he does ortiz and wouldn't try that with cotto. cotto demands respect. ortiz is a clown

 

I agree, I highly doubt Floyd does something to this degree to promote the fight. Overall, I think both men respect eachother greatly.

Usually there is something that sparks a fire in that mutual respect though. What could it be? I think if anything, Cotto might find himself
looked past for other fights and feel discredited as a legit threat.
Maybe something of that nature?

The only people that have actively disrespected Cotto in a lead up to a fight is Mayorga and Margarito, so I doubt Mayweather goes in like that.
