Stoppage by body shot, it is the biggest non sense ever. Find me anything comparable, it will be controversal. Those shot might have been legal, Kovalev might have been basically broken down, but as a referee you just don't finish a fight with body shots. Why: because the guy has all his mind still there to take the decision for himself weither he wants to continue or not. When it is a hard head shot, there is brain damage, the fighter doesn't take the right decision, he might take punishment detrimental to his head. There is no way that was a good decision. The ref should have let Kovalev quit at that point, it would have been more humiliating for him, more legit for Ward. Kovalev's life was not in danger, it was freaking body shot (it looked like body shot to me).
