Exactly:good we are talking about some huge hitters in the early 90's. I would say right now it would go something like.

    At their best, pure power

    5. Jones Jr.

One or two observations bro - first, you can't have Robinson above Eubank, McCallum and Eubank and Hopkins is arguable. He is most certainly a better composite puncher, but for pure power, I don't think so. Secondly, Jones probably warrents consideration. At Middle, i'd have him above Sugar, I mean if they fought, I would consider Jones the puncher.

Hearns...not sure. He could bang though, no doubt.

Dick Tiger was also a very hard puncher, though his KO % isn't all that.

Ketchel should be on any list of punchers at the weight.

whilst all the ATG's most likely beat him, i don't care who you are, benn is gonna give you a hard ****ing time and plenty to think about whilst you're in there with him.

an absolute savage at 160. although he was better at 168 and much more cute with his style.

btw, i can't see the video right now but is the eubank KO of reginaldo santos on there? that was crazy, especially his reaction.

    Holy smokes batman

i personally think everyone of the eople in that vid would have put pavlik out. its not about punshing power its about skill and defense and having a chin of granite.

pavlik does not have the right to be talked about in that fashion yet

Eubanks little pose after that disgusting KO and then you got his victim just laying there lifeless...Priceless. How I would have loved to have seen James Toney vs Eubank and Benn:|

IMO Toney vs Benn would have been absolutely tremendous. A ruthless all out puncher vs a slick ruthless iron chin with ridiculous right hands and subtle left hooks. Brute Power vs Toughness/subtlety

You know what? I think I might pick him to beat LaMotta...he would certainly give Jones a hell of a time at 160...Hopkins would destroy him, Tiger would destroy him...imagine a dream top 20 MW division where the best and most exciting fighters fight for the title. WHo would leave him out? Not me.

Anyone with serious smarts beats Benn at 160, but you are right, it would be fun whilst it lasted. Basically, Toney's chin is so good, Benn probably doesn't even have the punchers chance. Not in any normal way anyway.
