The Punisher beat Quintana in a more covincing fashion than Cotto

I would like to see a Williams/Margarito rematch.

 

difference is we want cotto to face his toughest challenges such as margarito and williams, but floyd fans wanted floyd to make loads of money and fight oscar (someone he has already beaten).

 

Nobody wanted Floyd to fight Oscar again. The only reason some of us said it was fine because you all say DLH is past it. What best way to take time off then comeback against a past it DLH in a warm up fight?

 

no but it means paul vs cotto would be an intriguing matchup. I think cotto wins this one too with relative ease.

That is very elementary . . . not because somebody beats somebody more impresively doesn't mean he can be considered the real champ.

What the hell no Wlliams lose to Quintana the first time.

 

I wouldn't say that Williams is the real WW champ because you can't compare victories over mutual opponents.. If you ask me, Quintana got caught and hurt badly and didn't even have time to recover or keep his distance from the tall Williams who pressured hard after Quintana went down the first time.. I believe a third rematch would go further than the second, but with Williams coming out on top again.. I believe Cotto can beat Williams though because he is a much, much smarter fighter with a lot more skill, not to mention amazing recovery..

 

Cotto has to be elevated to the linear champ once he beats Margarito period. PBF is gone....WBC will be vacant....IBF is vacant.....WBO is now Williams who could lose his next fight. Cotto does not have to fight Williams to be considered the real WW champ. Williams is going to have to move up to 154 very soon. Cotto would get inside and devour Williams. I won't throw out that he beat Carlos with ease due to styles make fights. That is your answer "Styles make fights".
