Sorry. I dont feel Cotto or Margo would present as tough as challenge as PW to Floyd.

It didn't take Cotto twice to beat him. And he made him quit.

    I agree.

Paul could exploit his reach, which would give him an advantage over Floyd.

There is not one thing either Cotto or Margario has in their respective arsenals that could be classified as an advantage over Floyd. The one thing they would both have to rely on is pressure, something Mayweather has proven he can handle with clean, accurate punching and a slick defense.

That said, Williams would have to keep this fight at a distance. If he could do that, he would be Mayweather toughest challenge ever.

    ok simple

Look at paul vs margarito, what shot did margo seem to land more than any? the bodyshot right? cotto is a much better body puncher, telegraphs it less and seems to hit with more force. that will be the deciding factor and paul's lanky ass just cant seem to grasp 'defense' as much as he does with 'defense to the body'.

Ok lets look at guzman-campbell. nate started fighting in his late twenties. Guzman has been fighting for how long now? decades and decades? Who do you think will bring both the physical (guzman) and mental aspect (guzman) to the table that night? please dont bet on a campbell win, it wont happen. trust me on this.

Cotto clinically dismantled a fresh faced quintana in short time, Williams caught him with a great shot in one round and Q was unable to recover. IMO Cottos win over Q was much, much better. Any fighter can land a lucky shot. Not to mention the height difference between the two. Williams should have never lost the first fight.

Lucky shot or 5 round demolition derby? My moneys on Cotto.

Gimme a ****in' break you need more than physical attributes advantages to beat Cotto at 147, because that is all Paul Williams has on Cotto, and your basing this assumption on his fight with Quintana, Quintana is a tough hard nosed skilled fighter but he is no Miguel Cotto, but I can read inbetween the lines in your stupid ass posts and it's clear that your a Cotto Hater plain and simple.

Now that PW won that fight convincingly, he has got himself into another big fight, probably a rematch with margarito, or the winner of clottey-judah for a unification.

I feel like cotto beats PW any day of the year.

**** thats what I'm saying, Why not? Quintana won the first fight by outboxing Williams so clearly. Williams completely caught Q cold in the rematch and iced him. Why not do a 3rd fight to break the tie? A win is a win and they both got one on each other!

It is hypocritical for PW to walk away from the rematch acting like the 1st fight never happened and that he isn't even 1-1 with Q....

Beating the guy you just lost to isn't exactly a cause for number one contender.
