Honestly, I don't think anyone can deny he's the most feared guy in the sport right now.

homie i have to agree you are right. Paul is the most feared man in boxing right now. It's getting so bad that he can make weight in three different weight classes and still be devistating in the ring. He's an animal.

Its true. Williams is a beast and has to be the most feared man in boxing right now.

GTFO!!!! He's a tough dude to fight at 147 due to height, reach, and stamina but he's far from invincible (Remember how Indio Quintana took him to school?) Paul should be fighting the guys from 154 up.. and should start with Sergey... I hope that fight happens and if Williams beats Sergey convincingly, then and only then will I start paying attention... Otherwise, GTFO!

He's a tough fight for anyone but he just doesn't bring a lot of money to the table. High risk low reward for anyone at 147-160.

Sorry... I totally disagree... That's like Mosley or Cotto calling out every lightweight and Jr Welter... Things don't work like that.. Calling out means nothing.. .He called Pavlik out before only to outprice his a$$ at the last minute.

What, you won't pay attention to a guy who :

Convincingly beat Margo when he was considered the most feared man in boxing?
Totally demolished Quintana in the blink of an eye in the rematch?
Has moved up in weight with great success and made mincemeat of a still-pretty-fresh Winky Wright?

    Don't be that guy.......

Williams has the height so why not go up to 168? Since nobody really wants to fight him at 160 and below. Im sure he can find plenty of opponents at 168

    Kessler-Taylor-Froch-Abraham-Miranda-Direll-Ward-Lacy etc

I love how you fail to remember how Williams dropped that one round demolition job on his Quintana's ass in the rematch.:deal Also how a green Williams beat a loaded gloved Margo at his own game and had Margo runing like a scared ***** from a rematch despite a career high payday.:deal:hi:

I like Paul, but some of these myths are way over the top. Since 2004 Williams has fought 3 or 4 times a year. This crap about being feared and avoided is utter nonsense. He does not get big fights because he cannot hold up his end financially. He's not a big enough draw. If Goosen had the sense it takes to pour **** out of a bucket, PWilly could be fighting Kelly Pavlik in October. However, Goosen approached Arum with a ridiculous offer, and acted like he would be doing Team Pavlik and Top Rank some big freaking favor to "let them" have 50%. Stupid move on Goosen's part.

He's not a 168 pound fighter. He says that 147 is his best division but too bad for him no one will fight him there.

no one else wants to fight him at 160 and below. 168 is the next best thing if he really wants to get paid. So many big fights he can make at 168. Middleweight has only pavlik now and it doesn't look like they'll fight anytime soon.
