Facts are facts kid. Goosen ****ed him out of the biggest fight of his career.

Fact -- he could not fight 3 or 4 times a year if he was "feared and avoided."

PTP is not fighting the fights HE wants 3 or 4 times a year. He has to take whatever he can get because he cant get one BIG payday so hes got to take 3 or 4 small ones.

Thank you homie. please break it down for the slow ones Paul williams isnt running from anybody. All the big names are running from him. So in order to get paid something big. For one big name fight he has to make that pay day off of 3 and 4 fights. but his day is coming. And when it does the critics and all the haters will be on hush mouth.

This is the type of posts and the type of fans that make a fan in "general" not like the guy. So according to your post, he "takes over" 147, 154, 160 and 168:rofl Now listen I think his physical attributes "probably" make him the man at 147, and only because everyone is SO much shorter then him, but there are some legitmate challenges at 154, Santos, Martinez being the upper echelon.
Middleweight and up is where it gets tricky for PW in my opinion. The hardest puncher he has faced is A. Margarito. I won't make this long but the top guy at 160, since you think he takes over is K. Pavlik. If you think PW WHO HAS NOT felt punches harder then Margarito takes Kelly's power you are in for a loooooong night. Pavlik has as high of a workrate like PW, but with more power, solid chin with a good left hook and not to forget as tall as him. I absolutely am confident this fight gets ugly for PW. There is also Sturm, which I don't rate highly, Even though he is a decent counter puncher and decent accuracy, Gevor with his high workrate and chin all will pose decent fights.
Now to respond to the takeover of 168. Kessler with his accuracy and underated power takes PW out in less then 3. Froch is open to be hit, but his chin would be to much plus the guy has power and underated tactics that have worked for him. AA is a style that PW could probably benefit from, with the slow rate, BUT PW activity and workrate will work against arthur, him being constantly countered with a left hook, AA's moneypunch. I have noticed, if Arthur does not respect your power bet your house you are going to be seeing stars(Gevor) or the fighters corner will not want permanent damage(Oral, Marquez)
THis is from a Paul Williams fan which I am .
He is good for boxing BUT I don't believe he is "the most feared man, MAYBE at 147:good

There are fights out there for him he just hasn't taken them, giving the false impression he cannot get a fight.

I think PW gets mauled by Kelly Pavlik, and I don't think he wants that fight. I would probably bet a lot of money on Pavlik in that one. For the record i was undecided about Wright / Williams and stayed away from it, Williams dominated clearly, it was a great performance, but if I were PW I would try and focus on welter while I can still make the weight.

Im sure he'd love to focus on welterweight, but unfortunately for him, the welters are focussing elsewhere

I agree totally. Paul williams has the whole division(s) on lock. Everybody is scared of him. The first to step up is going to get destroyed, and the ghost it setting himself up for failure. This man is a monster, a beast. Kelly isnt the elite or even classified as one of the elites in the sport. He really has a lot of work to do to chop that tall tree down (WILLIAMS) and i dont see it happening.

If I was promoting Paul first I would see if he can still be effective at 147, then I would quickly sign for the highest available figher available. It might be someone like Jesus Soto Karass or some other top fifteen guy. I would do two fights like that, even three, but I would do them extremely quickly, over four, five months. I would promote Williams as a real throwback. A vicious volume puncher with stamina and a chin, relentless.

The problem with these dumb ass promoters is they refuse to do any real work, every fight has to be a mega event. Somtimes if you pull back a little you can build something up, a little foreplay makes the orgasm better.

Two, three smaller fights, blazing victories, the fans and the media will be screaming PW's name. His legend will build, as he goes Cabellero on the division, but doesn't look as awkward. Someone is going to give, hell CLOTTEY WANTS TO FIGHT HIM RIGHT NOW!!!!

By the time he steps into 154 in eighteen months he will be the toast of boxing and if he wins there, he will huge by the time he gets to 160 in terms of value.

However, getting beat down by Pavlik isn't going to help him one bit. :hi:

Nope -- the beating will not help him, and judging by other post-pavlik careers it will effective him adversely for a long time.
