If he looks good like I think he will against this Lara kid, I think he would take Cinnamon Freckle Spice, Cotto, Margarito again, Razor, and up at middle Chavez Junior and Sturm! :bbb:bbb:bbb

    Hmmm No!!

PW gets beaten by the notable guys at 154 and 160. His best shot would be to make 147.

Cotto is a toss up just because of his defense and chin but i would expect Cotto to outbox him and slow him down with body shots.

Dzinziruk would probably just flat out outbox him.

Canelo would outbox him and probably stop them late.

Chavez Jr. would be basically a bigger version of PW fighting him. Margarito hurt PW to the body and well Chavez Jr. basically focuses only on the body.

Sturm puts a pretty good beating on him as well.

Lara is going to stop PW so this will not be relevant in a couple of weeks.

His chin is cracked and he is no Whittaker. Expect PW to see a very steep downfall.

Paul "The Punisher" Williams is a nightmare to anyone besides Martinez, the big relevant question is, is the punisher still alive after the two horrific beatings Martinez put on him, turning his lights out aswell, which may play a big factor in Pauls confidence and ability to take a shot.

I think the first war with Martinez definetely took effect. Williams got buzzed against Cintron who wasn't throwing much at all, and we all know what happened in the second Sergio fight.

If his punch resistance is still near to what it was, then he beats most of the fighters from 147-160. Surprised so many people are picking Lara over him.

    :good

If pun' turns up, I fully expect him to grind Lara to a stoppage/wide decision.

Paul is a nasty opponent for anyone, and Laras team are taking a big gamble in this one, if I were in his team I would probably advise to go a different route.

Williams is all wrong for Lara. Lara can't fight on the inside and doesn't deal well with pressure. Williams by UD is my pick for that fight.

    :lol::rofl:lol:
PW would beat the **** outta Cotto and have him running all over the ring looking for a place to lie down. Williams is a stylistic nightmare for Cotto and would stop him in 8 rounds or less.

Lara is going to get a nice lesson in the art of inside fighting against Williams expect him to take a beating in that fight.

The other fights on your list are toss ups in my opinion.

Did you ever consider Lara is also a bad style match up for PW?

They are each others kryptonite. Thats why i actually like this fight.
However you need to consider that PWs chin is more than likely shot. Ever since the first Martinez fight he has not looked the same and his confidence was down.

Lara is great at timing and he is gonna time PW and put his lights out. I cant wait to see odds on this one.

I don't rate Lara's head movement and countering ability that much to have him over Williams. He also looked pretty clueless on the inside against Molina, and had issues with workrate, Paul Williams as we know is very good on the inside and has an insane workrate. I think that what Williams posseses to trouble Lara is more substantial than what Lara posseses to trouble Williams. I also believe the chin issue is up in the air, obviously there is a chance that it has been cracked, but we don't know that for definite. I think it's a risky variable to base the outcome of this fight on.

If Lara has a decent ring IQ it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he can beat Williams. One of P-Dub's main problems to me is how he throws he punches from so far back when coming forward, which was exploited to the full by Maravilla, who was able to stay on the outside, wait for Paul to begin throwing, and he'd just step to the left or right and drop in a few counters before moving out of there.

Of course, it's harder to put it into practice than theory, but it's certainly one of, if not the best way to beat Williams. Obviously it's going to be difficult when you have a 6''1 guy with an 81'' reach winging a hundred shots at you a round, but it's proven to work. The good thing for him is that not many in and around his weight can really implement that to the full, there's a guy like Cotto who can get under his arms and work the body, who could also take the fight from Williams, but other than him, it's mostly just guys that Paul's style would give fits to.

Cotto doesn't have the durability or will needed to beat a guy like Williams. He would get busted up trying to get inside on Williams and it would take a heavy toll on him and he would melt down under Williams' relentless pressure. Williams stops Cotto in 8 rounds or less.:deal
