    Margo fans say that Margarito asked Williams for an immediate rematch but that Williams turned him down.

    In all honesty, if Margo doesn't want to fight Williams, I have no problem with that. Williams already owns a win over Margo, Margo can't say the same. Margo is the one who needs to redeem himself. Williams has 3 divisions to choose from. There are plenty of fights out there for him. If Margo is satisified calling himself the division's best when another top Welter is 1-0 against him, that's his preogitive.

    What annoys me, is pole jocking Margo fans that claim that Williams doesn't deserve another shot. That's just plain ******ed. Look at my posts, you don't see me criticising Margo for not fighting Williams. It's his career, he can do what he wants. My problem is with posters who use ass backwards logic to defend their boyfriend Margarito.

    he does have the right but what person wouldnt take advantage of an oppurtunity for revenge unless you didnt think you could win

    He turned it down in order to unify with Cintron. Williams has always said that his goal is to unify the division(something fans claim they want fighters to do). After Cintron pulled out, Margo was offered a shot to replace him. Williams has always maintained that he would love to fight Margo again. Margo fans only tell half truths that put their boyfriend in a better light.

    This sport is ran by promotion and $$$ , right?

    Once Williams told Margo NO..he persued Cintron..that fight was suppose to happen.. he didn just say "hey, CIntron..wanna fight? "..then Cintron said " No,, sorry man"..Then Williams said " Oh well, no prob, hey Marg, guess Ill rematch you then "..

    Marg wanted a REMACTH, just like Williams wanted an uimmediate rematch when Quintana beat him...THEY TOLD MARAGRITO NO..PERIOD........so what if thier fght wtih Cintron fell through? at that point Margarito was going along with what ever Bob suggested and righfully so..he went on to eventually beat the #1 welter weight in the division and PW went on to trade losses with Quintana..

    so now YOU have to wait....only someone biased wouldnt agree that margarito did the right thing..

    so he's our Boy Friend and blah blah blah...Williams bitched up and went after Cintron..thats his fault. GET IN LINE....

    I never said anything about Margo doing the right or wrong thing. I even said I have no problem with him not fighting Williams. My problem is with delusional fans claiming Willimas doesnt deserve a shot, that's plain ******ed. He's more than deserving of a fight. If Margo doesn't want to fight him, he has other options. Life will still go on for the Punisher. In fact, this thread is about Williams staying at welter and fighting Cotto. Of course, paranoid Margo fans came here and started with the nonsense.

    the RING ww CHAMPIONSHIP is vacant because Floyd retired and avoided the top welters... I think its somewhat appropiate to mention him in a thread regarding the state of the WW division.. Not like we are talking about Ruiz N Valuev and FMJ's name pops up..:patsch

    Floyd "ducking" has nothing to do with margo and williams fighting I don't blame paul for not fighting him right away he won the first fight but took a worse beating than margo its not like he said he wouldnt fight him just not immediate blame bob arum for not getting that in the contract before 1st fight
