    If you could create a P4P list of active fighters based on their attributes alone, i.e. Power, hand speed, Ring intelligence e.t.c. And not on their achievements or record what would it look like?

    Here's mine and some explanations;

    10) Dmitry Pirog: Stalking mid-range/long range fighter with excellent ring intelligence and defense.

    9) David Haye: One of the sports most powerful and explosive punchers, very underrated footwork.

    8 Carl Froch: Once was seen as a iron chinned warrior but recently rediscovered his great understanding of the Pugilistic art.

    7) Bernard Hopkins: Perhaps the most savvy Boxer in the modern era, complete technician.

    6) Chad Dawson: Maybe the most effective counter puncher in the sport now Mayweather is in limbo. Positioning and combination punches set him apart.

    5) Lucian Bute: Best footwork in the game, unique counter shots to the body and excellent head movement.

    4) Andre Ward: See Hopkins above, but add agility, hand eye coordination and prominent jab.

    3) Manny Pacquaio: Goes without saying but superb angles, head movement going forward, stamina and accumulative power.

    2) Juan Manuel Marquez: Just exceptional balance, counter punching, rhythm, intelligence, everything a legendary defensive fighter needs.

    1) Nonito Donaire:No weaknesses in my opinion, pound for pound one of the biggest punchers in the sport, pure athlete.

    Some noteworthy exceptions;

    Ortiz, Alexander, Judah, Guerrero, Gamboa.

    I'd have Gamboa in there somewhere, but nonetheless that's a great list.

    I don't think Froch is that good a boxer. He simply fought the right fight against AA, that's all.

    I agree C-Pole.

    Froch is a solid tough - but unspectulaer talent - who to use the words of one of your hated online enemies - TFFP - has looked like "dog shite" in most of his world title fights - against Jermain Taylor, etc.

    Froch fought a disciplnined fight - but Arthur has always been a quite basic come forward tough and determined but umimagnitive fighter.

    Froch is no Calzaghe or Pernell Whitaker.

    He looked good against a cumbersome fighter like Arthur - but he struggled to land on a slick guy like Andre Dirrell.

    I'm not really sure Haye deserves to be in the list either, he's a very good puncher, but so far he's been untested at heavyweight. Remember, Herbie Hide was considered a devastating puncher until he went up against the likes of Vitali and Bowe. To get on this list Haye would have to prove his power against the top guys.

    As for his footwork, I wouldn't say it's underrated. It only gets noticed at all because he exaggerates it (against Valuev?). If his footwork was that good he wouldn't get caught with so many jabs as he does.

    Believe it or not, I am a David Haye fan, I just dont' think he should be on this list (yet...).

    Also, if you're going to have Haye and Froch on the list, why not Amir Khan? I don't like him that much, but he does have a lot of talent...
