yeah I defo intend to. I've been posting here as often as the classic the past week or so, so I'm defo going to keep it up, the British is the ****
1.Donaire 2.Hopkins 3.Calderon 4.Marquez 5.Pacquiao 6.Martinez 7.Rigondeaux 8.Segura (very unorthodox I know but he has his style down to a tee) 9.Cotto 10.Glen Johnson (still the best inside fighter in the world for me) I've based mine on how they have refined their styles to make them into such great fighters so that's why quite a few don't really conform to you criteria of hand speed etc
Carl Froch is a double hard *******. Hence why I wouldn't be completely surprised if he pulled it off against Ward. Stranger things have happened for sure. But as a man who tries to dissect style as meticulously as I can, I can't see Froch doing anything other than be in there, and I mean in there, for 12 rounds, not disgracing himself, but not giving himself much argument to win. Then again I could not see any way he could avoid getting twatted by Arthur. Sometimes you can analyse all you want a fighter does something you never saw happening and surprising, **** that, shocking even the most hardened of boxing fans. But I think Ward has what Kessler had, which is a plan B, something Carls major scalps haven't had. Froch has shown he has two gears now, awkward mid-range with his angled jab or bombing, and mauling (as he's such a poor inside fighter, looping shots to set up his straight right is his main offence, when he tries to close the distance it's mainly holding behind the back of the head and thumping that uppercut in ) but Ward can get in his chest and exploit his inside deficiencies, and if Carl does what we know he will do, can give him movement whilst being more active than Dirrell, which is why I find it hard to envision Carl winning Add Wards big advantage in handspeed and combinations and it will be hard for Frochy to get much done. His biggest chance is to Hirt Ward and pit him away, and whilst I'm not sold on Ward being too stern up top, Frochy is not a big puncher (hurtful and heavy handed but lacks the requisite sharpness to be truly explosive) and Ward seems to have the kinda' old timers tricks that will allow him to bide his time and clear his head whilst Carl tries to throw the kitchen sink at him. As for Dirrell, I definitely think his Grandpa has drilled boxing into him to make up for his own shortcomings, athletic and fast no doubt, but he just doesn't seem to have the warriors edge, which is so important.
Shall we get this over with and just facebook each other pics of our cocks?!? :rofl I'm glad me imploring you to show your face more often has given me the desired result. You will be a hit here, this forum has taken a few knocks in the past year, with increasing numbers of trolls and some top posters hittig the road for good. And I really appreciate the kudos mate. I still have a LOT to learn about the sport we are all enamoured with :good
good points all round. And yeah, I don't see Froch beating Ward either personally. If Ward crowds him, which he clearly enjoys to do, his skills at that range will do the scoring for him. Froch might want to jab and set the pace when they are standing off one another I feel, that's his best bet of dictating the action. Ward really does seem to be adept with the jab too but we'll see. Froch wants to never give Ward a moment, because I think Ward is that good that if his opponents do that it just has disaster written all over it. I agree on Dirrell. I mean, I have really enjoyed some of his boxing displays when he is actually boxing with authority, but it's never going to translate to greatness for him. Some boxers just have the x factor and some don't. It's both interesting and crazy.
same here on the learning to be done, and yeah no problem on the **** pics I don't mind a bit of trolling, unless it gets to the point where it's ruining things. But that's what the lounge is for so it should be left out really.
:rofl Unfortunately my phone doesn't have a magnifying glass, best I can do is out of focus shot of some scraggly pubes :thumbsup
