From memory ... didn't Don King work that system for quite a few years? I sort of recall a Valuev/Chagaev/Ruiz circle thing going on before Haye came along, and ended up losing the regular to Wlad.

This time, I think might the the last time. When the regular champ fights the super champ they're going to be done with the regular belt at the end of it. (Hope so anyway).

 

Dear lord, hope you read this post. Removing the belt would be awesome. The only good thing about having so many titles is that the fighters are easier to advertise. Quick example: Kubrat Pulev won the EU HW title and the media said that Bulgaria has a champion. If you are not a hardcore fan, you would think that this EU title really means something, but actually it doesn't. About all the other Inter continental, Latino blablablabla etc titles - I just don't want to comment them. They are pointless.

 

Someone create a Kickstarter please. We can use my backyard, got 5 lawn chairs and a fire pit.
